Since that day, Sooyoung always came to hear the girl singing. Now it became her habit to come to that-used-to-be-creepy class only to hear the mysterious girl singing with her beautiful voice. It’s been a week since she started being a stalker for the girl, but it’s been a week too she never know the girl’s face. She’s been thankful only to hear her voice every afternoon, like this time. Now, as usual, she would bring along some snacks, breads and drinks with her, not only for her but also for the girl whom she was stalking. It because she realized it at the second day she stalked the girl, suddenly the girl stopped singing and start coughing. Sooyoung thought maybe it because the girl was tired, training everyday and not bringing drink with her. That made her kept in mind that she should bring drinks and food along with her in the next her visit, then she would leave the drinks and food near the classroom door everytime the mysterious girl finished her training. She didn’t know either why she would do the thing she did right now. Never been in her life doing a deed for other person beside her family, and to think that she did something to a person she didn’t even know who, she was wondering too. But that wasn’t the problem for her, as long as she could relax her mind and her body with listening this girl’s voice, it’s been enough. Think the deed she did for the girl as a thank you for making her enjoy her time.

That afternoon, as usual, Sooyoung would spend her time, sitting on the chair in front of the class where the girl was singing. Sometimes she would close her eyes to inhale the fresh air around her while listening the peaceful voice that come inside the class. But somehow she didn’t know that today would be different, not like the days that had been passed. Sooyoung was closing her eyes when suddenly her phone was ringing loudly. She, her self didn’t know since when her phone had this loud sound. She startled at first while turning off her phone and cursing under her breathe why the hell her phone was ringing, and to make it worse, it rang  soo loudly to the point that the whole college might be able to hear it, that was on Sooyoung’s mind. She could hear that the mysterious girls as shocked as herself now as she heard the girl screamed with highest note she could ever reach and for Sooyoung it sounds like a dolphin, but with destructive effect because she swore that she felt that her ears suddenly became numb, but right now she could care less. She immediately stood up from her seat and started to run away from that place as fast as possible. She just a few meters from her first position before she heard someone’s shouted.

“YAH DON’T YOU DARE TO RUN!!!!”

Sooyoung immediately stopped and freezed on her position. She didn’t dare to move her body even a bit. Inside her mind she was praying soo hard that God will show her mercy and let her out from this situation alive, although normally, why would a person pray like that as if she was caught seeing a serial killer killed his prey.

“Finally...now you can’t go anywhere. I’ve been waiting for this day coming. Soo let’s see, who’s my stalker  for all this time.”

Sooyoung couldn’t accept the fact that she was called a stalker. She abruptly turned her body to see the mysterious girl and saw the girl was standing not really far from her, and it made her able to see the mysterious girl’s face for the first time. At the first time she looked at the mysterious girl, she couldn’t help but stunned by the girl’s beautiful face. She had this ponytail hair, her face was glowing although the weather that time somehow cloudy and dark, and she could see that the girl had milky white skin. Although Sooyoung could see the girl’s arrogance expression on the face, nevertheless it made her more attractive. The girl smirked at Sooyoung’s shocking expression. She then came closer to the spot where Sooyoung was standing right now. Sooyoung gulped with still looking at the girl.

“I didn’t know that I have a good looking stalker like you...should I be grateful?”

This girl was really arrogant, Sooyoung said to herself. It made Sooyoung came into her sense and tried to fight back and thought of teaching some learn to this arrogant girl.

“For your information, I’m not a stalker. I was walking around here and when suddenly you shouted on me.”

“Ohh I see~ then whose bag is this?”, as she brought her hand that longing behind her back for all this while in front of Sooyoung and showed a black small-shoulder-travel bag.

Sooyoung’s eyes looked like would pop out of its frames when she looked at the bag on the girl’s hand. It was her bag, but she couldn’t admit it. She didn’t want the girl would think that she really stalked at her for all this time. At first she wanted to teach some respects to the girl, but now Sooyoung couldn’t do anything because the girl had turned the table. Sooyoung couldn’t help but turning her face to the her side to hide her embarrassment and to avoid the girl’s stare.

“Why should I know whose bag is that?”

The mysterious girl couldn’t help but chuckling at Sooyoung’s behavior. Sooyoung then frowned as she turned to see the girl who was laughing at her right now. Sooyoung’s frown made the girl bursted into laughing. At first it’s soo annoying knowing that the girl was laughing soo hard to her, but later she was captivated with the girl’s laugh. She looked soo beautiful and really cute laughing like that. Sooyoung unrealized that she was staring at the girl till the girl stopped her laughter and waved her hand in front of Sooyoung’s face.

“Yah, are you ok?”

Sooyoung was startled and couldn’t help but blushing more because she was caught daydreaming by a totally stranger. She then looked down to hide her blushing but unluckily again this time, the girl caught her blushing too.

“Omo~ you’re blushing? Gosh you’re really cute you know~? Hahaha~”

The girl was laughing again and it really annoyed Sooyoung now. She swore that she could die because of this embarrassment. Sooyoung then stomped her feet and starting to walk away, but suddenly, she felt someone tugged her shirt and force ger to turned back to see that it was the girl who tugged her shirt.

“Where are you going?”

“It’s not your business”. Sooyoung said it with cold expression. The mysterious girl could only staring back at Sooyoung and seemed she didn’t want to lose in this seemed-to-be a staring battle.

“Oh, really? Soo you don’t want to take a responsible for everything you’ve done? Do you know that you’ve ruined my precious training time, MISS STALKER?”, as she brought her face closer to Sooyoung’s while smirking triumphantly.

“I’m not a stalker!!!”, she was yelling at the psycho girl because she couldn’t let the close approximity between her and the girl as she stepped back immediately.

“If you’re not Miss Stalker, what should I address you then?”, the girl suddenly held Sooyoung’s left arm made Sooyoung more blushing because of the sudden contact. There’s this electricity that came from their contact skin and it made Sooyoung felt there are many butterflies were flying inside her stomach. Never been she had this feeling before, and it left Sooyoung perplexed.

The girl was looking at the perplexed Sooyoung. She couldn’t help but chuckled...the thing that made Sooyoung felt that all the butterflies inside her stomach would burst out in any moment. The next thing, unexpectedly, the girl shove her hand asking for a handshake.

“I’m Jessica, Jung Jessica.”, she showed her warm smile which really different with her previous smirk, and all of her arrogance wasn’t there anymore, being replaced by a cute and sweet gesture. Sooyoung was still on daze because she was experiencing the fastest transformation that happened in human history. Still fresh in her mind how arrogance and dangerous the girl was, but now it felt like it was all only in her dream, because who would think this cute and sweet girl was the similar girl with the psycho,arrogance and dangerous girl she just met a moment ago. Everything that happened that time was too much for Sooyoung and it made her stunned without able to say or do anything. The girl whom the name was Jung Jessica was looking at Sooyoung questioningly. Actually she felt annoyed because Sooyoung didn’t respond her handshake, then she waved her hand again in front of Sooyoung’s face.

“Yah seriously you really like to daydreaming, eh?”

Sooyoung stared at Jessica dumbfoundedly and still stood there without doing anything. Seeing that Sooyoung still didn’t give her respond, Jessica then sighed and walked away toward the classroom. Sooyoung still stood there but her gaze followed wherever Jessica was going. Then Jessica stopped her track in front of the classroom door and turned around her body facing Sooyoung.

“Do you mind if I take this?”, as she took one can of soft drink from bunch of food and drinks that Sooyoung brought for her. Sooyoung who still couldn’t make up her mind only nodded, and that answer was what Jessica need at that time. She started to make a way inside the classroom before she turned again her gaze back to Sooyoung and said the last thing before she really went inside.

“It’s gonna be better if you come inside. You can hear the song more clearly, besides, it’s bit chilly outside. Just come inside anytime you want.”, with that, Jessica threw her sweet smile before she closed the door, while Sooyoung still stood on her position, left dumbfounded there.

Sooyoung still couldn’t able to comprehend what has just happened. Everything was too much and too fast for her. When she was still regaining her thought into one piece, suddenly the rain was pouring down, enough hard to force Sooyoung to run to the nearest shelter, it was no other than the alley in front of the classroom where Jessica was training. Jessica could hear the rain was pouring down, harder as the time goes by, and she thought of Sooyoung since she remember that the girl  was left outside. She then went out the class and immediately found no one at the spot where Sooyoung stood up before. She turned to see at the chair right outside the class and felt relief immediately, she found Sooyoung  sat there while the latter was looking at the dark sky.

“I thought I told you to come inside.”, her voice made Sooyoung startled. She didn’t notice her appearance before because she was focused looking at the sky above her.

“No, I’ll wait here.”, Sooyoung then throw her gaze back at the dark sky. She did that because everytime she stared at Jessica’s eyes, her heart would beat really fast and she felt like her tongue was tangled up. When she thought Jessica would leave her, she turned to see whether Jessica had left her, but she saw that Jessica still standing beside the classroom door.

“Aish you’re really babo and stubborn too. Let’s come inside!”, Jessica pulled Sooyoung inside while Sooyoung just too shock to fight back. After they were both inside the class, Sooyoung could only stay on her position while Jessica went out once again to take all the food and drinks that left outside. Jessica then place all of those stuffs on the table that locate nearest the classroom door while Sooyoung only could looking at everything Jessica’s doing. Jessica closed the door then throw her gaze to Sooyoung and the latter only startled a bit before she turned her face anywhere but Jessica. Jessica could only sighing and then went back to her usual spot to continue her training. But Jessica didn’t know why suddenly she felt nervous when the girl was finally there with her. And there’s this awkward silence between them for only God know how long. It was really awkward and no one would try to break the ice. Sooyoung was still on her previous spot, standing beside the door frame without moving any inch, while Jessica pretended to read the lyric when in fact she was nervous and although she tried to focus studying the lyric, she couldn’t. Her brain was full with the girl that had took her attention just now. She didn’t know why but she had an interest to the girl who used to be her stalker, her stupid-stubborn-but-cute-and-captivating stalker. She was enjoying her time when she made fun of her, but what happened this time with all nervousness, she had no idea.

They were totally in an awkward situation till suddenly there’s loud lightning, made Sooyoung suddenly flinched, but she never expected that she would hear another destructive dolphin shriek for the second time in that day. She felt her ears went numb again because of it. She rubbed her ears and when she just wanted to scold the dolphin girl because of her temporally deaf she accused, she was shocked with what she saw. Jessica was squatted down because of the previous lightning. Her body was shaken hardly and she was crying at that moment. Seeing Jessica in that state, Sooyoung immediately run toward the poor girl.

“NO! Please stay away...please~!”, she sounded like she was begging for her life. Her voice was shaken and you can hear nothing but fear in her voice. It hurted Sooyoung to see Jessica in that state. Jessica kept mumbling incoherently pleaded to stay away from her, but Sooyoung insisted to go closer. The gap between them was getting closer, when she was close enough, Sooyoung followed Jessica squatting down beside her, while in other hand, Jessica still in her position. Then Sooyoung pulled Jessica gently into her embrace and patted her back wishing that her action could calm down the poor girl, and it seemed her action successfully made Jessica more relaxe.

“It’s ok...I’m here.”, as she kept mumbling the same words to make Jessica calmed down, then suddenly the lightning hit again made both of them flinched, but this time, Jessica didn’t shriek anymore. She hugged Sooyoung tighter as she hide her face in the crook of Sooyoung’s neck, while Sooyoung prevented Jessica to hear the lightning by placing her hands on both Jessica’s ear. They were stay on that position for about an hour.

It was still raining, but this time it was drizzle. They were standing at the alley, obviously they had been outside the class already. No one spoke that time. They were just enjoy watching the drizzle, when suddenly Jessica finally spoke out.

“It’s been late already. I should go home now.”, she looked at Sooyoung as she wanted to know what would the girl reaction. After what happened during the hard rain, Jessica felt something strong was growing inside her about the girl beside her right now. How disappointed she was when Sooyoung brake her embrace. She wished that she would stay in her embrace for much longer, but too bad that Sooyoung didn’t grant her wish. And this time when she said that she wanted to go home, she was curious about Sooyoung’s reaction. She wished that at least she would say something, or would be the best if Sooyoung decided to walk her home. In the other side, Sooyoung didn’t know what to do or what to say. She was the one who initiated everything, but now she was confuse why she did that in the first place. Jessica didn’t say anything after she broke their embrace. She swore that she wished that she could hold her for any longer but she was afraid that Jessica would think that she was using Jessica with her in that state. Then she could only nodded when Jessica said that she need to go home. Her mind was blank and she nodded only because of her reflex. Jessica couldn’t hide her disappointment. She secretly sighed and took out the umbrella inside her bag. When she tried to open up her umbrella, she realized that Sooyoung only carrying a plastic bag which contain of the leftover food and drinks that she brought and she didn’t bring umbrella with her.

“Do you bring umbrella with you?”, Jessica wanted to make sure that Sooyoung didn’t bring umbrella.

“No.”

“Then how are you gonna walk home in this kind of weather?”

“Don’t mind me, I’ll have my way.”

Jessica felt that she wanted to hit Sooyoung’s head right now. How could she kept being cold and unfriendly like that. She then had an idea in her mind.

“Let’s share my umbrella then.”

“I didn’t ask you to share your umbrella.”

“Tsk, whatever.”, with that, Jessica pulled Sooyoung with her under the umbrella and made the gap between them closer, since the umbrella somehow only fit for one person. Sooyoung tried to break Jessica’s grip but the latter somehow stronger and she had a hard time to release herself from Jessica’s grip.

“Yah, who said I want to go home with you?! Yah let me go!!”, Sooyoung still tried to escape from Jessica’s grip but she was scolded instead.

“Yah, can’t you stop moving...look now your clothes are wet because of the rain.”, as she gripped on Sooyoung’s arm tighter and it made there was no gap between them.

“Look, this is the deal. You will walk me home and after I arrived at home, you can bring my umbrella with you. You can give it back to me by tomorrow, ok? Now let’s go before the rain is getting hard.”, with that, Jessica literally dragged Sooyoung with her while Sooyoung still trying to break free from Jessica’s grip.

“Yah, who do you think you are? Why did you act as if you’re my boss?”, as she kept trying to go away from Jessica, but her act caused Jessica being soaked by the rain. Jessica let out a small shriek as the rain made her right side wet. Sooyoung felt guilty immediately. She then stopped trying to escape and was checking if Jessica was alright, then she saw that Jessica’s right side was soaked enough.

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s ok, look you’re wet too. Now let’s hurry up before we’ll get soaked all over our body.”

Sooyoung could only following her now. She thought that Jessica would scold her being stubborn and caused her soaked by the rain, but instead, the latter was worried about her. That made her feeling all warm in her body. They just met properly about two hours ago, yet she could make Sooyoung felt something that she never experienced before. Sooyoung was wondering is this what people called love? But they’re just met not a long time ago, that’s what Sooyoung thought. Sooyoung then throw her gaze to the girl beside her. Jessica was shivering in this weather, and to make it worse, her dress was soaked thanks to her. Sooyoung then put her hand around Jessica’s waist to make her body touch each other wishing that it would make lessen the cold. She took the umbrella from Jessica’s hand and now she was holding the umbrella instead. Jessica was taken a back from what Sooyoung did. It made them stopped their track, as Jessica was staring at Sooyoung shockingly.

“You said that we are in hurry, now let’s go, I don’t want you get sick because your dress got soaked.”, Sooyoung said while throwing her warm smile. Jessica was speechless, went agape and she could only nodded. Then they started to walk again under the rain that night.

Their journey to Jessica’s home was quiet, but this time, it wasn’t the awkward silent. They’re just enjoying each other’s presence. In this kind of weather, people wouldn’t want to spend their time outside because of the cold weather, but if you asked these two, they were probably choose to spend this cold-rainy-night outside together under one umbrella, because no one of these two felt any cold. They were just shared their warmth under this cold weather and both of the silently wished that it would stay like this forever, but too bad, they’re just arrived in front of Jessica’s house.

“We’ve arrived.”, Jessica broke the silence between them. They’d just arrived in front of a medium house located not far from the college. Jessica’s home was located in the housing where most of the lecturers from their college live. Sooyoung assumed that Jessica’s parents was a lecturer. Jessica then opened the gate of her house, then they made their way into the front door. When they’d arrived at the front door, Jessica made her way right in front of the door when Sooyoung stood still at her spot still holding the umbrella although the rain didn’t reach the place where she was standing right now since there was canopy above them. Jessica turned her body facing Sooyoung.

“I guess you should go home now...it’s been late already and your clothes got drenched. You should change it immediately right after you arrive at your home.”

Sooyoung let out a slightly chuckle hearing the girl’s words. She didn’t know why but she found that the way Jessica worried about her was funny, yet it made her happy knowing that there’s someone who concerned about her.

“I told you, you don’t have to worry about me. You have to take care yourself first.”

Sooyoung was hesitant at first, before she continued.

“Are you really gonna borrow me your umbrella?”

“Of course! Like I said you can give it back to me tomorrow.”

“Ok then, thank you. Now I got to go.”, that time when Sooyoung just turned her body, suddenly Jessica hold Sooyoung’s wrist. Sooyoung then turned her body and saw Sica who was holding her wrist.

“Thank you for walking me home...hmm...”, Jessica looked like she was thinking of something. That time then Sooyoung realized that she hadn’t introduce herself to her.

“It’s Sooyoung, Choi Sooyoung.”

“Oh...Thank you Sooyoungie~”, Sooyoung still dumbfounded when she heard Jessica called her with such a cute name when suddenly Jessica leaned closer and did the unexpected thing. She kissed Sooyoung on the right cheeks. Sooyoung was froze on her spot, while Jessica was blushing hardly and immediately made her way to the door and then went inside, not before she looked at Sooyoung for a moment before she really closed the door.

Sooyoung, with her feet still glued on that spot, felt her cheeks became warm. She raised her hand to touch the part of her cheek where Jessica place her warm lips there. She still wondering if that was really happened or was it just her daydreaming. She then turned her body and made her way leaving Jessica’s house. The way she was walking like she was drunk. Her mind and her stare was blank, she still couldn’t comprehend what had just happened. She then stopped her step while she still looked like she was zoning out. Then she touched her cheeks where Jessica kissed her. It was still warm, that was Sooyoung thought. Then, there was a ghost smile appeared on Sooyoung’s lip. She couldn’t help but smile like crazy, thinking that there never been the day that better than today for her, that day surely the best moment in her life. It was the best feeling she ever felt. She continued her way home with a light step and couldn’t wait for tomorrow because she couldn’t wait to see Jessica again.
