I got up from bed to get ready for the big day. I walked down stairs and tripped over a box

"jdgejegdiebisbs what the hell!?" I fell face-first on the cold hard ground "what is this doing on the stairs!?" I yelled enraged by the box

"hey careful coming down the stairs, theres a bo-" Sehun said walking out of the kitchen but was cut mid sentece by my frustated self "what happened?!" he asked while laughing

"I tripped over that stupid box! What is it anyway?" I got up from the floor and dusted myself off

"It's your birthday right? Well happy birthday!!" he said with a huge smile while hugging me. I opened the box to reveal a pair of black boots with bright orange laces. I quickly hugged him and ran to my room to put the away. As I stepped inside my room I got a text

Are you awake?

To: Baekkie

No, I'm still sleeping!

From: Baekkie

very funny.... Come outside!

I rushed outside and there he was waiting for me

"Let's go!" he said pulling me away. We stepped inside the restaurant and Kai and his girlfriend where already there 

"hey there! Happy brithday" said Kai as soon as we sat across from them

Baekhyun POV

As soon as we sat down Kai kept giving me weird looks and I instantly knew why. He was aking if I was going to confess. He kept bothering me until I finally had enough

"Kai stop! I can't do it! She doesn't feel the same way!!" I yelled getting weird looks from everyone in the restaurant, I bowed apoligetically and sat back down

"So you did?" he whispered

I sighed "No...."

"Who? You like someone?" She teased while Kai's girlfriend gave us weird looks.... I shook my head "It's nothing... Here say ahh..." I said putting food into that got Kai's attention, again!

After lunch we went to walk in the park and went back home to get ready

"you have one hour to get ready" she said going up the steps that lead to her door

"I know, I know" I said and shut the door to my house

"Hey! don't slam doors while I'm speakin!" she yelled

"you weren't speaking!" I laughed and went upstairs to get ready. All I could think about was how to confess? How to tell your bestfriend you love her? When I was done I walked to her house and knocked the door, Sehun opened and let me in

"you'll take care of her, right?" he asked seriously

"of course I will!" I said and just then she walked downstairs 

Your POV

We walked outside and got inside his car, not long after we got to the club Time Control. We danced and danced all night and after a while we got tired and went to sit down. A girl aproched us and whispered something in Baekhyun's ear and he got up and followed her leaving me alone without a word. I got up to go look for him but he was onstage. 

'I'm not sure how to do this but...there's someone here who I love, so much.... and it's had to tell her how I feel because I don't know if she feels the same way but this song is for her and I hope you all like it"

As he was singing he got off stage and made his way towards me, he stood infront of me and looked me in the eyes. That's when I realized I love him too, as more than my bestfriend. How could I have been so blind? So oblivious to my own heart.... How could I have missed it? I love my bestfriend!

After the song was over we stayed looking at each other for a while neither one of us wanting to look away and then, slowly, carefully he leaned in and kissed me. It was like time had stopped, like no one else existed, like we went to our own little world where no one could keep us apart. 

We broke the kiss and Baekhyun returned the mic to stage, he held my hand and lead me outside.

Narrator POV

They walked for a while not saying a word just enjoying eachothers company. He took her to a buildings roof and they stayed there looking at the sky, not saying a word until he turned to her and breaking the nights silence he whispered

"I love you, more than you know"

"I think I do know, because I love you too" she said still looking up at the stars, he turned her to face him and they locked eyes for a while slowly leaning into eah other, closing the distance until their lips met. They broke the short but sweet kiss just as the sun was starting to be seen. Once again Baekhyun turned to her 

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked

"I will" she said with a smile, he gave her his bright smile and gave her one more quick kiss before leading her out of the building and back home.
