Shim Chang Min has never wanted a girlfriend before.

He used to think that girls spelt nothing but trouble.

He was afraid of heartaches; he doesn’t want to risk his innocent feelings being played out. He refused to give out his sincere love to just anyone – because she had to be someone special. Someone that he could really connect with; the one that he could truly understand.

And Jung Nicole was none of the above; nothing like he has ever imagined in his ideal girl.

She was loud, she talks a lot. She eats more than he did – she even prefers talking to her food than paying attention to him or anyone else.

She’s slower than average; her naivety is almost impossible to ignore. She’s too kind for a pretty face – always putting others before herself and that frustrates him the most. She always includes ‘what ifs’ in her sentences and she wouldn’t stop harping on the most unnecessary things there is.

But nevertheless, Chang Min bypassed all that. He closed one eye to her flaws; he doesn’t care anymore about what others think of him.

Because Jung Nicole was the first girl ever to open up his heart; the one to convince him to give love another chance after his first left him without a word.

He loves her with all of his heart. He would swear his love for her over and over again.

But some pasts, some untold histories – they won’t leave us completely.

So what’s a man to do, when he’s loving two?
