Unknown to Dami, Baekho tried his best not to laugh. Just what was going on today?

As soon as JR walked into his class Minhyun and Ren ran up to him

JR looked at the two before him “everything set?” he asked

Both Minhyun and Ren nodded eagerly with a rare smile coming from Ren.

“She’ll totally love it, trust me. This won’t fail” Minhyun assured JR with a pat on the shoulder

JR smiled “so let’s go over the plan once again. First Aron hyung will distract Dami and take her out for ice cream, then he-“

“we know, we know. Relax Jonghyun, this plan is idiot-proof” Ren cut off JR

“Right, just making sure we all know what’s going down” JR said worried

 

School ended for everyone and as Dami was walking out of her classroom with her best friend Lydia she bumped into Aron.

“oof” she said as she bumped onto Aron’s chest

"whoa, be careful, wouldn’t want the birthday girl to get hurt” Aron said and he pinched her cheeks

“Yah, hands off my cheeks oppa!!” she whined

Lydia was on the side watching everything and laughing “what brings you here Aron oppa?” she asked

“Oh, right. I’m here to treat you two ladies for ice cream. It’s a once in a lifetime chance since I don’t normally spend money, what do you say?” He said with a big grin whilst looking at both Dami and Lydia

“why not, sounds good to me” Lydia agreed

“uhhh, I don’t know op-“ Dami said but was cut off with Lydia pinching her back

“say yes, I want to spend time with him as well” Lydia whispered to her best friend

Dami let out a sigh “fine”

“so what’s the final answer Miss birthday girl?” he asked as he draped his arm across her shoulder

“The answer is yes, let’s go get free ice cream!” She cheered

 

While walking to the ice cream store Dami felt like a third wheel, because suddenly the two idiots in front of her began whispering to each other. She watched as Lydia’s hand and Aron’s hand brushed against each other which eventually led to Aron holding Lydia’s hand. She watched all this with envy, thinking when will she be able to be happy with a guy she liked. Well actually there is someone she likes, but she’s not too sure how things will turn out.

 

Over at JR’s place Minhyun, Ren and Baekho and Dami’s other friend Jenny were rushing around getting things ready.

“Yah!! Why am I the only one doing all the work, huh?” Jenny said frustrated as she glared at the 4 boys goofing off

“oops, sorry. Did you say something?” Minhyun said innocently

“don’t test me, Hwang Minhyun. Kim Jonghyun you’re supposed to be helping! You planned all this and now you’re just there eating all the food” Jenny yelled

"whoa chill, everything’s is perfect okay? Thanks Jenny” JR gave her his cute smile

Ren rolled his eyes “taking advantage of my poor noona” he said and chucked a cushion at JR

 

Over with the other 3, Dami felt awkward sitting in a booth watching the two flirt with each other

“aish, just freaking confess already” she said and glared at them

Both Lydia and Aron’s eyes widen and both became shy

“A-actually, he already did. That’s why he kept whispering to me while walking here” Lydia said as she smiled at Aron

Aron smiled back and pecked her head “this day just keeps getting better”

“yeah for you two, can we go now? I want to go home” Dami said irritated

“hang on, were all hanging out at JR’s place, so you guys have to come along” Aron said as he tried not to give away a lot of info

“Fine, let’s go now” Dami sighed
