Jessica held her hand to her beating heartbeat as she took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself down. She was here.

Today was the day she had a photo shoot. Usually she wouldn’t even bother, but the fact that Jonghyun was going to be here scared her a little. What’s worst was that he was taking photos as well! With her! She didn’t know whether to be happy he was shooting with her, or sad that, well, he was shooting with her. She sighed for the umpteen time of the day and turned to look at their coordinator, pouting.

“Eottokae?” She asked, blinking desperately.

“I say, you should keep calm and trust yourself. You’ve always been naturally photogenic, what’s more is that you know your angles. This would be the most perfect moment. I mean, the whole of Korea knows that you guys are dating!” She exclaimed, flinging her arms madly in the air. Jessica gave it a thought. Just two months ago, the couple officially announced their relationship. Although it had caused some disruption, the sea had calmed.

“Aishh,” She ruffled her hair. “You always say that, but I feel that I look horrible in photos!”

“God, not the hair, Sica, not the hair!” She quickly pulled out the styling foam and the comb, twisting and turning the curls of Jessica’s strawberry blonde hair. They had to fit the concept and let’s say blonde was their forte.

“Anyway, all girls say their photos are ugly, including me, but admit the fact you do look gorgeous, anyhow.”

Jessica couldn’t help but nod. She knew her angles that made her look stunning, and she knew the angles that were not as gleaming. However, she had stared in the mirror and never found the flawless angle. Not that she found an angle that made her look hideous.

Eyes trailed over the beauty as silence took over the room. The stylists and coordinator watched in awe as the male took soft steps over, without even making a sound, yet able to let the ice princess sketch a delightful grin. She’d recognize his footsteps.

“Sica!” His voice had this edge to it that made her fall in love with him more. She mentally swooned over his wonderful voice, while she took a breath once again.

“Jjong, I’m scared.” She whispered, fingers trembling under the manicure nails. Their concept was simple. True love. How hard could that be, considering they were a couple?

Reason why they were chosen anyway.

A warm hand engulfed hers as a smile graced his lips. Instantly, Jessica’s face lit up. She felt at ease just with him by her side. It felt as if the photo shoot was already being conducted in the room.

The photographer barged in. “Goodness, if it isn’t Jessica Jung and Kim Jonghyun. Stunning, might I say. The designers are incredible. Muah!” The photographer snapped his fingers, raising his eyebrows slightly.

Jessica was dressed in a pale pink sundress that was eccentric and modern. It ended a few centimeters above her knees, and held elegance. Her make-up was done lightly with natural colors to accentuate her cheekbones and natural tones, going extremely well with the strawberry blonde wavy hair. She wore a pair of baby pinks flats with bows at the edge, glitter sprinkled at the sides. To top it off, she had a straw hat, with a floral ribbon around it.

Jonghyun on the other hand had shorts that ended at his knees. He wore a white shirt and donned on a blue checkered shirt. Moccasins with slight heels were used and he too wore a eccentric looking hat that complimented his outfit greatly.

Jessica stood up, hand still clasped in Jonghyun’s. The photographer couldn’t help but notice, letting out s sigh of happiness.

All eyes were attracted to that particular couple out there. No, not only were the high tech cameras attention seeking, so was the couple. They held a glow that no other did, and as they flashed a warm smile towards each other, hand in hand, the photographer snapped a shot.

“Marrrrvelous!” He shouted, impressed. He had basically just instructed them to act natural, run around in the sand, dance, play, and he would just snap the shots randomly. He had expected much, much less. The shoot had just started, yet the first photo looked perfect.

“Sica-yah! Isn’t this great? Having fun while working!” Jonghyun exclaimed, intertwining his fingers with hers. She grinned, and nodded, ecstatic. She ran ahead of him, brushing sand in his way.

“Yah!” He shouted playfully, chasing after her. Jessica turned her head around, showing a pearly smile.

*Snap* “Bravo! Continue, darlings!” The photographer was beyond impressed. To say impressed was an understatement.

“Jjong, can we lay on the sand?” Jessica asked, pouting as she bent her knees slightly. Jonghyun grinned, replying happily, “Of course!” And thus, another masterpiece was shot.

Jonghyun plopped himself onto the sand, while Jessica softly sat down. He lay his head on her lap, smiling with his eyes closed.

“I’ve always wanted to do this.” He whispered, shifting in her lap. Jessica giggled, his cheek. “Me too.” She stared at his facial features, unaware that the camera just took one shot of her doing that. Her eyes outlined his jaw, up to his lips, his nose, his eyes, and then she stared at them as they snapped open. She jumped, and both erupted into cheery laughter.

“Wonderful, we’ll call it a day. Thank you, Jonghyun and Jessica, you guys did great.”

Jessica grabbed Jonghyun’s hand, and Jonghyun squeezed it in response. No words were needed to communicate. The photographer stared at the intimate moment. They waved merrily, and made their way back into the dressing rooms, leaning against one each other.

The photographer let out a huge sigh, before a giant smile took its place.

“This photo shoot will turn out great. True love… The theme suits them completely. Their twinkling eyes were just a small evidence of true love.”
