You gave your all to softball in middle school, now that you're in highschool, you have decided to give your all for a new goal: getting a boyfriend and falling in love. However, you have one small problem—since you never paid any attention to fashion or trends in middle school, you have no idea how to go about attracting your yet-to-be-found love. But a chance encounter with the popular Wu fan provides you with the opportunity you need. If he coaches you on how to become attractive, surely you can find yourself a boyfriend. He agrees to coach you after your great persistence but on one condition: you must not fall in love with him.

Characters:

Choi Jooyeon/You

A high-school girl who played softball and was devoted to manga in middle school. You are known to be a very dense person. Shortly after entering high school, you've become determined to find a boyfriend under the influence of all the shōjo manga you read. You can be described as simple-minded and doesn't seem to pay much attention to your surroundings, though you are very kind hearted and cannot refuse anyone who needs help. Your friend once stated that you are "pure-hearted to the point of being scary". 

Wu fan a.k.a Kris

A "total hottie" who's in the grade above you. He knows the ideas on how to impress men from a woman's point of view. Although a little shy and easily embarrassed, he represents a figure of cool demeanor, he was even once confessed to by most of the girls in his class. In the beginning when you asked him to tutor you about profession in boyfriend-making he warned you not to fall in love with him nor cry around him. 

Wu Mei-Lien a.k.a Mei

Kris's little sister. Although she's pretty and admired by many boys, she often shows her conceited side. She has a serious brother complex. She wants you and Kris to be together. She likes Huang Zi Tao, but wanted to test him and see if he would wait forever in the snow for her. 

Huang Zi Tao

Kris's friend, also known as "Tao". He's a bit on the slow side, not getting some things straight even if it is right before his eyes. His caring demeanor was suddenly vicious when women and children are being bullied or harassed. His nickname is "Panda Bear" which was given to him because he look like a panda.

Zhang Yi Xing

Kris's friend. He has a part-time job at a restaurant, and like Tao, he is calm and caring (fortunately, he has some common sense and is not as dense as Tao). Kris says that ninety percent of what Lay says is out of kindness and that whomever goes out with him would be happy because of all the kind words he says. He once went on a date with you to make Kris jealous. 

Park Minji

Your best friend since middle school. She is notably calm and collected, being able to read you like an open book. Your friendship is a close one. She has a part-time job at a video rental shop and was the softball captain of their team. You often have a very high opinion of Minji believing that she is amazing. You describe Minji as kind, clever and calm. Minji extremely values her friendship with you. Minji has proven at several times, that she is highly perceptive, especially concerning you. You, in turn, demonstrates your affection for Minji by trying to help her find her own love.
