“In this small village it was allowed for demons and human to live together under certain conditions. In order to survive, we follow them. The most important rule is to always remain with every window, door - or any other kind of entrance – closed at night. Long time ago, it was agreed that humans would be free to enjoy the brightness and warmth of the sun while the coldness and loneliness of the night should stay with demons and all sorts of bad creatures.”

“Demons are horrible monsters with disgusting faces and strong yet abnormal bodies. Many don’t have eyes, smells awfully bad and have burnt skin. They are gross and repugnant. Every day I pray for you, my beloved daughter, to never cross a demon’s path.”

“I have never met anyone who could explain why those creatures chose our village or when they arrived. All we do is a fact of submission. In other words, obey the rules if you want to survive.”

I grew up listening to this speech. My mom did everything she could to make her advice extremely scary yet real. So it wasn’t her fault that I started to doubt the truth in it. In fact, what trigged my curiosity to a point I could no longer suppress was the legend my friends told me about: if a man and a woman kissed under the moonlight, they would stay together for eternity. Nothing would ever break this endless tie.

I shouldn’t have believed in him. I knew it. But my desire to stay with my boyfriend (Junsu) forever was too intense to resist. Considering that I and my boyfriend were neighbors – and the architect failed when he built up our houses - the balcony of my bedroom was aimed right to his. It was so close that we could easily touch each other without bothering to stretch too much.

Junsu had promised me that if I opened the balcony doors of my bedroom – it should be full moon - at midnight, he would be there, waiting for me. Then, quickly we would share a kiss to make our love endless.

Yes, we were going to risk our lives but it was for the sake of eternal love. Besides, who knows if demons really exist?

My trembling hands touched the locked bars of the balcony doors and carefully unlocked it. In a swift move I pulled the doors opened.

Nothing.

“He lied to you...” A sudden male voice whispered softly in my right ear. I blinked a couple of times and shook my head from one side to another, trying to discover to whom belonged that voice.

Demon. The only thing that appeared in my mind.

Desperately, I took one step back to my bedroom, ready to close the balcony doors once again when a strong gust of wind hit against my body, pushing me. I fell into a sitting position. The pain never reached me though, because as soon as I opened my eyes, I froze.

A strange shadow had entered in my room and was now before my eyes smirking at me...

This isn't my first story, but it's my first one-shot ^^
It will be a romance between a fictional character (Kim HeeJin) and one guy from BEAST

THIS IS IMPORTANT: since I couldn't choose just one guy out of the six from BEAST to appear in this fic - because I like them all so much - I decided to write six versions of this one-shot (each chapter will be one version, in the end there will be six chapters, that's why I didn't put one-shot in the title ^^).
They all have the same story (copy & paste), the only difference is the name. So you choose the one you like the most from BEAST and read his version, ok?
