**There won’t be much of a story description this time, but there will be Yoosu all over the place, with a healthy sprinkle of Yunjae. Also note, Yunjae will not meet so soon, since the fic is developed in that manner. Apologies for that.** 

Story Outline:

The final remaining independent northern plain, which is also the only place that Yoochun's father died without conquering. In a bid to fulfil his father’s dying wish, a battle to overtake will ensue, sparking a whole new start for the brave conqueror, and also for all the people around him.

Forgoing his last chance for escaping with the rest of the royal family, a brave young prince, Junsu, chooses to fight alongside and protect his brother. He will not succeed and his brother will eventually die during battle, and so he believes. The hate he harbours for the conqueror responsible for his brother's 'death'… Can things change for the better?

Yunho, a wise advisor who might not be able to make equally wise decisions when faced with love. A loyal friend who accepts his friend's dark side, will he be able to live with another with a dark side as well?

Jaejoong, a mysterious healer. One who protects and believes that fulfilling his responsibility is of utmost importance. Will he allow the royal advisor to remove the mystery that shrouds him? Will he ever open up to another in the name of love?

Character Outline:

Junsu (16 years old) - Prince from the still unconquered northern plain. A blithe child. Bright, good-natured and strong-willed despite his fragile being. Everyone in his father's kingdom loves him… and so does everyone else from other places. Captured by Yoochun as a form of trophy.

Yoochun (28 years old) – New king of the southern, western, eastern and central plain. A conqueror like his father. A hardheaded, outwardly cold and silent man with violent tendencies. He made a promise to his father on the man's death bed that he will take over the remaining northern kingdom. Acceded his father’s throne after the man’s passing. Loves Junsu.

Yunho (28 years old) - Yoochun's advisor after the man became king. His father used to be Yoochun's father's advisor too. A wise and kind-natured man. He has been Yoochun's playmate since they were infants. He does not always approve of Yoochun's violent and stubborn ways, but accepts the man as he is. After all, they have been best friends since forever. Loves Jaejoong.

Jaejoong (25 years old) - A royal physician by training but left the palace for an unknown reason (will be revealed later on in the fic). A northerner like Junsu. A very smart but quietly dark and enigmatic person. He tends to keep things to himself. A very complicated person with a past. At odds with Yunho.

** This character will only be introduced in the later chapters. However, he is the main player and the cause of the various plots and twists.

Junho (27 years old) - Prince from the northern part of the country as well, but he is born of a palace maid. This fact makes him inferior to the throne, but he never harboured any hard feelings against Junsu, since he dotes on the boy the most. A warrior by training.
