"The object of this game is to pair an idol up with another idol from a different band and have them up against another pair; Battle of the Idols is like an idolized Olympics to test out your favorite idols' stamina and strength!" The MC beamed widly into the camera, gripping the microphone tightly to his chin as he explained the concept of the program. "We will vote on who gets paired up with who, staring... now!"

Kyo Jin blinked up at Onew curiously, extending an amiable hand for him to shake. "Let's work hard to win!" she smiled briefly, giving his hand a firm shake. Onew nodded enthusiastically, holding up too fists. "Hwaiting!" he chorused cheerfully. He averted his gaze to the opposite end of the platform, pointing at Minho. "You're lucky we're not up against him; Minho's really competitive," Onew explained casually. "We'd be best off going against Taemin or Key."
Kyo Jin nodded, understanding fully. "I'm aware," she giggled. "I'm actually a fan of SHINee myself."
Onew's eyebrows rose to his hairline with delightful surprise. "Oh, really?" 
Kyo Jin nodded to this, earning herself a happy grin.
"Well, looks like I have to work hard to impress you now," he joked casually, amiably patting his new sports' partner on the back.

He stared at the crowd. "I wonder who we'll be versing."
"Hopefully someone easy," Kyo Jin mumbled, glancing at the set-up props being used as their obstacle course. "This game looks hard!"

Ava blinked at Yongguk mysteriously. "Omo," she chorused in unison with her partner. "You're the BAP leader, right? I met you at Zinger's birthday party!"
Yongguk flashed her his signature gummy smile and nodded ecstatically, satisfied with her quick ability to recognize him. "Well, at least I'm not partnered with a total stranger," he chuckled lowly. "Let's work hard to win," he offered, outstretching his hand.
Ava rose a quirky brow before smirking gladly, accepting his firm handshake. "I'm allergic to losing, so I can guarantee you that we'll win," she retorted playfully.
Yongguk smirked, eyeing her up and down before meeting her gaze full on. They shared a heated, competitive staring contest before both grinned maniacally at one another. "I look forward to working with you," Yongguk admitted honestly.

Ava laughed, nodding understandingly. "As do I."

The MC nodded at the matched up pairs, giddily jumping in his spot behind the platform at the corner of the stage. "Well, it looks like we're ready to begin!" he announced incredibly. He pressed a button on his platform, causing the screen at center-stage to shuffle past the couples' names, randomizing the opponents that will be up together.

As the buzzer dinged, signifying the end of the draw, the audience fell into a hushed silence, before breaking out in boisterous cheers, causing a ruckus with their posters and banners; some even stood up to jump. The MC cackled, "Well, it seems Onew-shii and Kyo Jin-shii are up against Minho-shii and Hannie-shii!"
Onew and Kyo Jin felt their faces drop -- the two most competitive members of both groups were paired up together. Onew let out an uncomfortable laugh, shifting closer over to Kyo Jin awkwardly as Hannie and Minho threw them dirty glances and trash talk. "We can still try our best," Onew squeaked, walking over to the designated spot.
Kyo Jin nodded with a determined look in our eye. "The event still needs to be drawn! It might be in our favor!" she replied vigorously.

"And we will have these four combat each other in a friendly game of... dodgeball!"

Kyo Jin groaned. "Dear god," she whispered, pulling her hair into a ponytail. However, she smiled, reflecting Onew's reassuring smile; comfort pooled into her stomach and she was instantly eased away from Hannie's pertruding smirk.
"Hwaiting?" Onew chuckled. Kyo Jin nodded vehemently, "Hwaiting!"

Onew chuckled, watching Kyo Jin slump onto the dirty ground, her hair matted with sweat. Over in the distance, Minho and Hannie were fearless, jumping around happily in victory; and for just that moment, both Kyo Jin and Hannie seemed to have forgotten about their struggles from the past few hours. 
Gladly, Kyo Jin accepted Onew's hand and was led over to the rest of the group. Ava smirked. "And it just so happens that our softest member was put up against our hardest."
Kyo Jin pouted, rubbing her stomach. "Hannie packs a big throw, too," she whined. "Nappeun yeoja."
Hannie stuck out her tongue, shooting Minho another high-five. "Nice job, Minho-hyung!"
"Hyung?" Onew rose a curious brow.
Minho only shook his head, chuckling under his breath. "Good game," he bade the losing team. "You guys alright though? I might've gotten carried away."

He sheepishly scratched his head, shooting Kyo Jin an apologetic smile, whilst his hyung pat his back. "It's nothing to worry about," Kyo Jin assured him. "I'm just glad that we all had fun."

Anna nodded, along with Vivien. 
"Well, I think the next event is about to start," Haebyeol announced. "Taemin-ah, let's work hard, araseo?"

The younger nodded furiously, giggling boyishly before high-fiving Haebyeol. "I think it'd be great if we were put up against Anna-noona and Lee Joon-hyung."
"I agree!"

Lee Joon rolled his eyes. "Watch it, Mr. Sweet Cheeks; I was in Ninja Assassin. I can take you down anyday."
"Whatever you say hyung!"

"I want to be up against Zelo!" Ava declared, smiling widely. "I think we should put up Leader-nim here up against his favorite maknae, don't you think?"

The MC nodded, but pressed his lips into a tight line to initiate suspense. "Whatever is drawn, is what determines your fate!" he declared loudly. "We shall commence with the second round! Who will be up next?! Stay tuned to Battle of the Idols to find out!"

"MBLAQ, SHINee, ELiTE, and Wonder Girls all in one show," Anna murmured, stalking back tiredly into their dressing room. "Too much too handle, really."
Vivien pouted, "I had fun, though."
"Same here!" Ava and Haebyeol chirped happily.

Kyo Jin lingered by the door for just a second, handing Onew her extra water bottle. "I'm really sorry we didn't win," he apologized for the umpteenth time since they wrapped up the broadcast. "I was so pumped up about winning, too."
"It's really not a big deal," Kyo Jin muttered with a soft smile. "I had fun."
Onew nodded. "We should do it again sometime," he joked, "minus the dodgeballs and gross sweat suits."
"Agreed," Kyo Jin giggled, running her hand through her hair.

"I was hoping we could keep in touch," Onew confessed bluntly. "Here's my number, Oovoo username, and Skype account name. Give me call, text, or webcam; I've been wanting new friends."
Kyo Jin blinked innocently at the notepad paper before smiling bashfully. Though, she nodded and obliged to his friendly offer. "You can expect a call from me, soon," she giggled. 
Onew grinned, "Great. See you around, Kyo Jin-ah! Oh, and for you: it's Jinki-oppa. Remember?"

"Ne!"

"Get some!" Hannie grunted, patting Kyo Jin's back. Kyo Jin slipped uncomfortably out of Hannie's grasp, shooting a small smile toward the latter's way. This earned Kyo Jin a hurt expression, causing guilt to suddenly overtake her emotions. "Mianhe, Hannie-ah," Kyo Jin whispered. 
Hannie shook her head. "It's going to take a while, isn't it?"

Hannie sighed defeatedly, crossing her arms behind her head as she slumped down onto a couch.

"A while is an understatement," Kisa grunted sarcastically.
"Shut up," Hannie barked, rising to her feet hesitantly. She shrunk back as Kisa held her taller frame up close to Hannie's glowering down at her.

"Bite me!" Kisa retaliated.
"I just might --"

"That's enough!" Ava hollered; Anna interposed herself in between the bickering pair, glaring harshly at her youngers. "Cut it out," she demanded. "Let's settle this at home; and at home, only."

"Stupid little ," Hannie grumbled, rubbing her stomach; her hand slipped up under her large tee shirt and scratched her rumbling stomach relentlessly. "Can't forgive a teenager for a stupid mistake; how could they?"
It was severely late -- in the ungodly midnight hours on a dark Saturday night. Hannie awoke to the sounds of her stomach rumbling, and for the first time in weeks, she's had an appetite for a large meal. "How could you call us familiy when you can't even take the time to understand --"

Hannie looked up from her bowl of kimchi as a knock sounded from the front door. She glanced around, and found the living area, as well as the dining area, completely barren of her band members -- someone was definitely outside her dormitory. "What the ," Hannie huffed, stuffing another chopsticks full of kimchi into . "Who comes to the dorm at midnight? Stupid idiots."

With her being hungry, sore, and cranky, Hannie had no motivation to lift herself up from her seat... not until the pounding grew louder and harder.

"ing A!" she cried out, puffing out her cheeks childishly. She threw down her chopsticks onto the counter, one of them rolling off onto the linoleum floors; she disregarded it grumpily, stomping to the front door. "!" she hissed. "Who doesn't put a peephole into the front door!?"
She ruffled her hair tiredly and scratched her cheek one more time before yanking the door open, readying herself to go full blast on the intruder.

However, her reprimanding was left unuttered, especially since her tongue ran dry; instantaneously, Hannie's eyes widened, and she found herself sheepishly scratched her head with embarassment. The words tied themselves around her tongue, refusing to be uttered; she could only clear uncomfortably. "C-can I help you?" she stammered furtively.

"I never got a call about your condition; I was worried, so I decided to come back as fast as I could after practice... I hope you don't mind," he smiled.

Oh... oh.
