You were lying down on your bed and looking up at the ceiling, your cheeks suddenly burned when you remembered what Ljoe told you a while ago.

“Ayyy Minah, do you have a fever?” you asked yourself and touched your cheeks

“then why are you burning” you said and sighed

“a person just told you what they think, it’s not a big deal sheez! And just because he told you something about an guy's ideal type does not mean he’s telling you you’re a candidate” you told yourself and looked at ceiling again, images from earlier kept popping into your mind~

[flashback]

“hmmmmm… actually…. there’s a lot of things that I can think of when I think of you” he said then looked into your eyes and smiled.

You tilted your head “like what?”

“hmmm, first is that you’re pretty” he straightly said

“e-eh?” you blinked

“second is your actually helpful” he paused and let go of his utensils.

“and you’re friendly.. you’re smart, easy to get along with, talented, well you’re kinda loud but everyone is secretly loud, you have a nice voice and—“ he was cut off

“wait, how do you know I have a nice voice?” you asked

“I heard you sing when that time in the auditorium” he shrugged and you nodded asking him to continue

“you play the violin….. I won’t be surprised if you can play the piano….” He expectedly looked at you as if asking you to confirm it

“yes, I do play the piano” you silently said and looked away

“see, that’s a plus!” he said and grabbed his fork again and ate his pasta

“a plus for what?” you asked

“well……” he uncomfortably squirmed in his seat “a plus for a guy’s weakness” he said

“a guys’ weakness?” you asked not knowing what he meant.

“it’s nothing” he said and coughed

When the two of you were done, the two of walked home together. The two of you reached your house first.

“go in~” he said

“Arasseo, see you at school on Monday” you said

“you never know, we might see each other tomorrow or something” he said

“okay then” you said and then started to walk in and unlocked your door when ljoe called you. You turned around and looked at him

“a guy’s weakness can be his ideal type so….. I don’t know, just put the pieces together… good night!” he said and started to walk to his house which was just beside yours.

Ljoe unlocked the door and saw you still looking at him

“yah go in! it’s dark!” he shouted

“Arasseo ahjussi” you said and chuckled then went in

[end of flashback]

You shook your head and sighed

“you’re no one’s ideal type minah just get it out of your head, what makes you think you’re byunghun’s ideal type just because he said that!” you said then turned around

“and ew being an ideal of that annoying guy is the worst!” you said to yourself and kept quiet “but lee byunghun sure is one ideal type of girls too” you whispered to the wall and stayed quiet

Just then your phone rang

You grabbed in the nightstand just beside your bed and saw the name

… Mr. Annoying Ljoe…

“great, just great” you said to yourself and answered it

“yoboseyo” you said and stared at ceiling

“yah”

“what do you want?” you asked

“are you sleepy?” he asked on the other line

“no, wae?”

“because I’m not sleepy too, and internet is boring” he said and sighed

“and so?” you asked..

Everything was silent for a while, the only thing you can hear was his breathing and yours until you heard him shift in his bed through his phone

“what are you doing?” he asked

“staring at the ceiling” you said

“that’s great” he said

“mmhmmm, and you?”

“talking to you and trying to sleep” he said

“oh… interesting” you said and then everything was quiet again

“minah” he said

“yes?” you asked and there was a long pause and then you heard him sigh

“nothing” he said

“troll” you chuckled and you heard him chuckled too

It was quiet once again and then you heard him sigh for the third time

Your brows met each other in concern

“is something bothering you?” you asked in a soft voice as you shifted and looked at the wall just beside your bed.

“nothing it’s just that….” He paused

“that?” you asked

“it’s nothing” he said once again

“lee byunghun just say it, okay?” you said

“fine, I can’t sleep and will you please sing the same song you sang in the auditorium because that seriously drifted me off to sleep” he said, and you can somehow smell the shyness in his tone.

You blinked “e-eh?” you asked

“okay fine it’s ridiculous, I knew it, Just forget it, bye minah good nig---“ “Wait” you interrupted

“what” he asked

“it’s fine….” You said

“what’s fine?”

“I’ll sing It, you better not laught at me in school” you said

“I won’t, I already told you a while ago that you have a nice voice” he softly said

And then that made you remembered everything again, your cheeks started burning, you heart was weirdly reacting and you gulped

“o-…okay .. I’ll start” you said and then coughed

With that you started singing again softly but still in tune. Making yourself sleepy at the same time.

byunghun on the other hand was staring at the wall while smiling. he didn't know why but it made him a little bit happy. he kept on thinking what he said to you earlier and he thought about you being his ideal type.... possibly his ideal type if you weren't annoying..

but for now he ignored that fact and listened to your soft, peaceful and beautiful voice.

*I haven't even expected us to be this close that I have to actually ask you to sing for me* he said to his self and closed his eyes.

When the song ended, you heard his even breathing on the other line.

You unconsciously smiled to yourself “Never thought you would actually ask me to sing when you can’t sleep”

you chuckled “Good night Lee Byunghun” you whispered and listened to his breathing while you were drifting off yourself. 

without ending the call, the two of you drifted off to sleep, hearing each other's soft breathing.
