I looked up to my life saver after I drank the water. 

"Why is he staring at me?", I thought but liked it at the same time. 

Donghae smiled sweetly at me. "Do you feel better?"

"I do..thank you", I tried to give a warm smile but end up smiling softly back. 

Donghae nooded softly. Did I scare him with my unsure expression? "What's your name by the way? I'm Donghae" He kept on watching and I felt my head heating up. "I'm Hyukjae", I said avoiding his eyes. I didn't want him to worry about me. I was fine. 

"Nice to meet you...Hyukjae", he smiled and nodded softly. 

We talked and talked and talked until it got colder. We didn't really realise that it was already dark. My heart felt heavy. 

"Oh no..I promised to be back home before dinner", I frowned and jumped up. I was looking around for my friends. 'Where are they? Why did they go without him?' He started to look down sadly and sighed. Donghae followed my gaze. 'Where was he staring at?' He looked back at me,worried about me freezing and looking all lost. 

"May I walk you home?" — Donghae started to pack his stuffs. He didn't want Hyukjae to walk home alone. Even tho it wasn't too dark due to the moonlight. 

I turned to him. "Would you?", I said shyly and smiled when Donghae nooded. "Just tell me where you live and I will drive you home", he smiled at me. I didn't hesitate and told him my adress immediately. I trusted him a lot. He made me feel like smiling when Donghae said: "I live there too. I've never seen you around" 

"I'm not going out that often.",I said and smiled shyly. I felt more comfortable around Donghae now. It wasn't only his behaviour, no , his smile,his hair,his face...even his eyes made me feel different. I knew this feeling from the relationship I was in. I started to knee down in the sand, helping Donghae to pack. Then both of us were walking towards the changing room and shower cabine.

"Let's go shower first", Donghae said while putting his stuff on a chair. I nodded from the outside, but freaked out from the inside. He couldn't shower nacked. He was just too shy.

"Can you shower first?", I asked looking down on the floor when we entered the shower cabine. I couldn't stare into his eyes without blushing. 'Hopefully he won't be too sad about it' I thought desperately.

Donghae looked over and couldn't help but smile about my cute shyness. "You don't have to be shy. But if you feel uncomfortable with it, I will shower first." 

I nodded slowly,lost in thoughts. 'why was he so nice to me?' I waited patiently outside while looking on my hands.

Donghae went out of the shower cabine after a while — clean and dressed and god damn it. He looked handsome. I couldn't resist but looking at his tousled wet hair. Damn. y. Maybe too y to be true.

I smiled and walked into the shower cabine.

~After showering~

We walked both to Donghae's car. I couldn't believe that he really drove me home. He had an awesome car — I didn't really know what brand it was but it was big. We went inside. Donghae took my backpack I still had with me and put it behind his seat. I couldn't stop staring at him. He was so y.

I looked fastly away when he looked at me. O-M-G!! I felt my face blushing. Why did I feel like that? What happened to me?

Donghae smiled when he saw me blushing and started the engine. He drove carefully home. Was he tired? I felt sorry for him. He would have never been on the beach until the middle of the night if he didn't have to comfort me.

I tried not to fall asleep by myself just to not pissing him off. 

When he parked the car in front of my house I looked up at him. Thinking for a moment.

"Goodnight Hyukjae", Donghae smiled sweetly and rubbed his eyes. I watched him. He couldn't drive home like that even if we lived in the same street. He still had to drive like 15 minutes to the end of it. 

"Do you want to stay for tonight?", I said shyly,looking down to my hands. I couldn't handle a simple 'no' while looking into his eyes. It was awkwardly quiet in the car. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears.

Donghae sighed. I looked up,frowning. He was smiling in a sweet way. "If you don't mind", he nodded. I felt more than happy. We got out of the car and walking in front of the door.(Hae took the backpack out before we did that) I pulled out my keys and unlocks the door,pushed it quietly open and rushed inside before my parents could here it. "Come in", I whispered to Donghae.

Donghae walks as quietly as he could. He the light by accident. 

"chrm,chrm" — My heart stopped beating when I see my mother standing there. She looked pissed...really pissed. I searched for the right words as fast as I could but nothing seemed to fit to calm her down. I followed her gaze. She didn't looked at me. She looked at Donghae. I frowned. 'Did he do anything?'

"Leave the house Mr. Lee DongHae! Now!" , she shouted at him. Donghae looked confused at her. I wanted to say something. I got quiet when my father walked downstairs. 

He rubbed his eyes. He must have woken up by mom's shouting. "What's going on?", he said in a sleepy voice and looked at his wife,me..then eyed Donghae...no..he glared him literally to death. "Lee", he hissed. "What are you doing in our house?!" 

"He-He safed my life today", I started to tremble. Never ever in my life I stood up against him. I couldn't help but look down. I felt a bit uneasy. 

Mom and Dad looked at each other. What was going on? Dad glared at Donghae and pushed him to the door. I couldn't believe that he did this. 

"I never want you to meet him ever again. Got it Hyukjae??", Mom eyed me with an evil gaze. The devil was staring me down and I couldn't do anything about it. Dad slammed the door shut as soon as he kicked Donghae out. "I can't believe that you brought this piece of into our house!!" My eyes widen. Piece of .. I felt warm tears coming up into my eyes. "Why did you do that?? Why?! He's my friend now!! My life safer!!" 

Dad stared me down. He was really pissed now. I mentally got ready to get hit...and there it was..his big hand slapped my cheek as hard as he could. I felt so much pain that my warm tears ran down my check. He hit me again. "Donghae's Family has led us into bankruptcy and I don't want him to trick on you and get our next family business teared down!!" I couldn't believe what I heared under pain.

Donghae's Family led us into bankruptcy...

I knew Donghae was different. It doesn't matter what his family did. He didn't seem like the type of guy that would do this to me. I decided to go upstairs into my room and lock the door. "What a day" I sighed out..still in tears. I wiped my tears and slowly felt my body numb. I didn't know how tired I actually was.

I sigh again and slowly lay down on the bed. Deciding to go to Donghae's house as soon as I wake up. 

I closed my eyes and fell asleep..faster than I ever did.

=The next day=

I woke up pretty early just to leave the house before my parents woke up. I didn't want them to be pissed off again. I made my way out of the room quietly and rushed into the bathroom. I showered,put some warm clothes on(It got pretty cold during the night. It didn't change at the following morning) ,rushed back into my room and locked the door. Decided to take some money with me to buy some food before I opened my window and slowly climbed to the tree, close to my room. It wasn't easy and I was scared to fall down on the hard ground but I made it. I climbed the tree down to the grass and ran off when I saw lights going on in the bedroom of my parents. Luckily I took my skateboard with me. I drove fastly to Donghae's house,hoping it wasn't too early.

I got off of my skateboard and looked up to the big house. I smiled shyly. But it didn't last when I hear Donghae's father shouting and opening the door rapidly. He throwed Donghae out and pushed him hardly against the wall of the house. I hid behind a tree to watch what was going on. I had to bite my lower lip just not to shout at his father. He should leave him alone. 

"Answer me!!!", his father hit his face hard. I jumped when he did. 

Donghae looked despite into his father's eyes but quickly shut them when he got hit again. This time so hard that he whimpered. I hardly had to take back my tears. It made me sad seeing an obviously broken family.

"I said Answer me Donghae!!! Why didn't you let him die??" — My heart sank down. He was talking about me. His father didn't even knew me. Why did he say such things? It hurted me.

"Nobody has been in the near..I couldn't just watch him drain in the-"

BAM...there it was again. He got hit again. I started to cry silently. "You shouldn't care about his family!! WE are your family! NOT them!! Clear your freaking mind!"

BAM!! He hit him again..This time in his stomach..Hae sank slowly down to the ground. His tears were real. The pain must have been terrible. "If I ever see you with him..", his father looked down to the sitting Donghae. 

"then what?", Donghae said and looked up to his father in tears. His father was ready to kick him with his feet. Donghae protected himself with his hands. "Stop it!", he cried out. "Stop hurting me"

I couldn't help but cry even more. I wanted to hug him. I felt so sorry..

His father was staring at him for a while. "Go study!!", he walked inside..leaving the hurt Donghae outside on the floor. 

I watched him for a moment before running to him. I kneed down in front of him,pulling him into a hug and hugged him lightly. Donghae hugged me back softly and cried into my shoulder. He burried his mouth as much as he could into my clothes. In fear that his father could probably hear it. I rubbed his back softly and tried to stay strong when he cried out his heart. This was horrible. I felt so much anger towards his father. 

I helped him up after a while. He was stumbling while going up. His stomach was hurting so much. I tried getting him into his car but that was impossible. He fell back down on the ground.

I kneed next to him,holding him tightly. I cried. 

Luckily my friends went by with the car from the eldest. I waved at them. They stopped the car, seeing someone on the ground besides me. They quickly ran out of the car and helped to pull Donghae up and into their car. I told them what happened and that he needs to see a doctor. I was so happy when they nodded and help us. I sat besides Donghae in the car. He was crying as sitting in this position for so long. I got into his shirt,rubbing his stomach softly.

"Everything is going to be fine again Hae", I whispered into his ear..trying to make him calm down.

=In the Hospital=

Me and the two eldest of my friend's carried Donghae into the hospital. He passed out in the car from the pain. A doc rushed over to us. We told him exactly what happened while the nurses were carrying a wheeled bed to us. We laid him carefully down there. He immediately got into surgery. I looked at my friends and worried a lot.

"Hyukjae!! Just sit down!"  I was walking up and down in front of the surgery room for hours of waiting. My Friends were staring at me. How can they say that? I couldn't just sit here and be quiet. I just couldn't. I was so worried and glared to them. It felt like forever until the doctor got out of the surgery room. I made big eyes when he walked to us. 

"Is he okay?" I asked in a soft voice. My body was ready to fall down if something happened during the whole surgery.

The doctor nodded. "The surgery went very well...but he needs to stay in here for a week"

My heart sank down. What should I say to his parents if they ask where he was? I couldn't say he was at the hospital because of his father. He would take Donghae out of it immediately. I nodded slowly when the doctor waved his hand in front of me. 

My friends jumped up when the nurses showed up. They carefully pushed the wheeled bed slowly out with them. Donghae was sleeping like an angel. I figured it must have been the anesthesia he got.

We walked into a hospital room. They told us to be quiet as long as he was asleep. I waited until they left the room and turned to my friends. 

"What the hell are we supposed to do now?? How are we explaining this to his family??" 

"Excuse me..?", the eldest of my friends stood up "did you just say we??"

I frowned. "I need your help. His parents are evil...at least his father is" 

"We don't even know him Hyukjae"

"I hardly know him too..He just safed my life and drove me home okay? But look at him", I pointed to the sleeping Donghae, "He doesn't deserve this. I know he has a good heart. Please?"

My Friends got quiet and looked at each other. Would they help me? I smiled when they nodded.
