It all started with a coincidence. One accident, one helping hand, one small step. And soon it leads to so much more. . .

Prelude

~_~ *sigh* It was getting to be a long day. Micky stares out the floor-to-ceiling length window across the street at the many little Korean shops. Among them is a little hair salon.

His mind wanders as he goes through the day’s schedule and events- up at 7, interview with the press from 8-11, lunch until 12, and from then until 5 in the church, mingling with the children and holding a mini concert for them.

Micky sighs again. He could feel the under-eye circles. If it wasn’t for the makeup artist and her magic, they’d definitely be showing. He half-notices two girls across the street.

Both had shoulder length hair but one girl’s hair had a wave to it while the other’s was pin-straight. The girl with the wavy hair who was a bit taller, laughed with her friend as they took long strides on the sidewalk. They enter the hair salon looking excited, still chatting away about who-knows-what.

Micky blinks then yawns, not giving them much attention and turns around so he faces the interior of the church. It was roomy- with a high ceiling and a wide wooden stage platform.

There were a few parents and children scattered here and there, with different staff members talking to them. Others, including the other four members, were setting up the plastic chairs in front of the stage. Micky and the others already played with the kids, so now all that was left was the concert performance.

His fatigue of the day and all the running around set in now, so that’s why he was taking a break and relaxing a bit near the window. His eyes dart to a movement across the street and he notices the salon door opening. Then he blinks and starts.

It was the same two girls from before, but different. The shorter one now had layers framing her face that also gave more bounce to her hair, making her more graceful and pretty. But the other girl’s long hair was completely gone, replaced by a daringly short bob.

As that girl turns to her friend, she happens to glance across the street towards the church, staring straight in Micky’s direction. He freezes. The connection lasts for a split second before the girl turns to her friend and they both walk down the sidewalk, conversing with each other as if nothing happened.

Micky sighs in confusion and realizes that the windows were tinted so she couldn’t possibly have seen him. Realizing this, he feels a strange sensation and is surprised by it. He shakes it off though and returns to the others energetically, ready to work hard for the concert.

Little did he know they'll meet again....
