Prologue

“You’re worthless!”

“Why did I have to get such a disgusting son!?”

“No one’s ever going to like someone like you… a !”

Please! Someone make the voices stop! Anyone! …Why won’t anyone help? Does no one care at all?

“Such a wonderful feeling.” A piece of glass fell onto the floor as pale slim fingers run across a fresh wound that’s bleeding and a bittersweet smile is soft pressed on a pale face as his eyelids flutter. “Sleep… I want to sleep.” A soft sigh escapes his mouth as he falls into a painless slumber.

‘Why was I saved? I don’t want to be saved.’

“Please, let us help you. We want to help you!”

‘Lies! No one wants to help. Everyone’s the same! Cruel… evil’

“Ryeowook… please trust me.”

‘I can’t! You’ll only leave me!” His falls to the ground sobbing and not knowing what to do.

“Wookie! That’s your new nickname!”

‘Why haven’t you left? Why is it that every time I hear your voice it brings me warmth?’

“Ryeowook… saranghae.”

‘Thank you. Thank you for saving me.’
