PROLOGUE:

Kim Ryeowook, age 11, sang at a park. Sungmin and Kibum, both were the same age as Ryeowook, cheered the loudest and clapped the hardest. Ryeowook put all of his guts and sang his heart out to everyone in the park. After he finished the song, Sungmin began to cheer his heart out and Kibum smiled and clapped along with everyone else. Ryeowook bowed to end his performance as he waved cutely and exit the stage. He smiled as he saw Sungmin and Kibum waiting for him near the stage. Both of them grew more happier the closer Ryeowook walk towards them.

"Yah. You were awesome. No one can beat you." Sungmin said as he smiled joyfully and put one arm around Ryeowook. Kibum nodded in agreement.

"Yah, Ryeowook, you want something to eat?" Sungmin asked as he rubbed his stomach, which was hungry. Kibum and Ryeowook laughed at Sungmin's cuteness but Ryeowook nodded.

"What do you want to eat?!" Sungmin ask, excitedly with a big smile on his face. Ryeowook thought for a minute.

"Nachos and churroes are fine with me." Ryeowook replied with a smile.

"With warm cheese, right?" Sungmin ask as he pointed at Ryeowook as he nodded.

"Okay." Sungmin clapped.

"Kibum and I will go buy the food and you wait over here. Don't go anywhere else, okay?" Ryeowook nodded.

"Okay, let's go, Kibum." He said as he put one arm around Kibum and they both left, leaving Ryeowook sitting on the bench alone.

10 Minutes Later

Ryeowook sat on the bench, patiently, still waiting for Sungmin and Kibum to return. In a blink of an eye, a boy appeared right before him. He was wearing black shoes, jeans, t-shirt, leather jacket, and a black cap. The boy look down at him with a smile.

"Boy, how old are you?" He asked all of a sudden. Ryeowook didn't answer and sat there quietly. 

"Hm." He continued, trying to make Ryeowook answer him. 

"Eleven." Ryeowook sighed. The boy nodded as he was thinking of another question to ask as he put his hands in the pockets of his jacket.

"What is your name?" 

"Kim Ryeowook." Ryeowook answered as he put his head down. The boy nodded again before taking a seat next to him causing Ryeowook to scoot a little bit.

"Ryeowook, do you believe in vampires?" This question caused Ryeowook to look at him with an are-you-kidding-me look.

"Of course not, why?" The boy didn't reply. Ryeowook realized he was talking to him! Of course there's nothing wrong with that, but the boy is a stranger to Ryeowook. His mom warned him not to talk to strangers because most likely they would harm you. 

'Wait wasn't he asking about my personal information earlier? Is he going to harm me or something? I wonder what he's thinking. Who is he anyways? And what does he want from me?' Ryeowook asked, mentally.

"I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself earlier. My name is Kim Yesung." Those words caused Ryeowook to snap out of his thoughts and look at Yesung with his head tilted to his right but nodded.

"You're surprised that we have the same last names, right?" Yesung ask. Which caused Ryeowook to look at him with wide eyes. Yesung chuckled at his actions.

"Guess, I'm right." Ryeowook frowned.

'Is he a stalker or something?' Ryeowook asked mentally again. This time causing Yesung to frown. Ryeowook look at him and saw his frown.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He ask.

"How can you think I'm a stalker, Ryeowook. Do I look like one to you?" Ryeowook was taken back by Yesung's words.

'It seems like he can read my mind or something. How does he know what my thoughts are?' 

"True. I can read your mind, Ryeowook." Ryeowook's eyes grew wide.

"But not only yours. I can read all human's mind." Yesung answer with a smirk as Ryeowook began to shiver.

'He is so not human if he can read all human's mind. What is he?' Ryeowook thought as he began to scoot away from Yesung a liitle bit more. Yesung seem to recognize this, that's why he scoot closer. Ryeowook finally gave up as he stood up and was about to leave but Yesung grab his wrist as he stood up.

"Are you afraid of me, Ryeowook?" Yesung ask. Ryeowook hesitated but froze when he felt a pair of arms wrapping around him. He knew it was Yesung.

"Are you?" Yesung ask as a smirk grew on his face. Ryeowook swallowed his spit in fear.

"Remember, I'll be by your side forever, Ryeowook." Yesung whispered into his ear. His cold breath causing Ryeowook to flinch. Ryeowook gasped when he felt something cold touch his left cheek. He felt his heart skip a beat as he look sideways and saw Yesung's lip against his cheek. He was too shock to do anything so he stood there. In a blink of an eye, Yesung was gone. But Ryeowook just stood there not moving a muscle. 

"Ryeowook!" He then came back to his senses and turn his head to the right to see who was the owner of the voice. He spotted Sungmin and Kibum running towards him with their bag of foods in their hands.

"Ryeowook-ah, why were you standing?" Kibum asked as he and Sungmin arrive. Ryeowook bit his lower lip trying to find an excuse.

"Uh...uh...I just got tired from sitting too long so I decided to stand up. Why, I can't stand?" He put his head down immediately after he was done talking. Kibum and Sungmin look at him, suspiciously. Both knew he was lying but they shrug it off.

"No. It's just that...nevermind. Here eat your food. It's getting late." Kibum said as he extended his right arm with a bag attached to his hand. Ryeowook look up and grab the bag from Kibum's hand as he made his way to the bench and ate the food slowly. Kibum and Sungmin joined him. Soon after all three were done, they gather up their litter and threw it away as they exit the park. Unaware that they were being watched.

At Ryeowook's House

Ryeowook was in his room, doing his homework. Thirty minutes later, he manage to finfish all of his homework so he gathered all his stuff and put them away. After he was finished, he sat down at his desk thinking about Yesung. Not long after did Ryeowook spotted a figure out his window. He blinked a couple of times to try and focus who it was. His eyes widened as he recognize it was Yesung. He noticed the smirk on his lips so Ryeowook, immediately, locked every window and door in his house. He ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower before heading to bed. Little did he know that Yesung was sitting on the chair next to his desk, watching him the whole night until sunrise. He would always make sure he kissed Ryeowook on the forehead before he leaves.
