A Mischievous MarriageChapter thirteen: Last day in Japan
“So… on the first day we did nothing. On the second day we went to Disneyland, on the third day we went to the hot springs and relaxed, yesterday we played in the snow and went shopping as well as eating Japanese street foods, well today concludes our honeymoon in Japan, and since I’ve been deciding everything for the past few days, today you’ll get the privilege to decide. Our plane is at midnight, so we’ll have time for dinner too.”
I place my index finger under my chin, deciding on some good places to go. I’ve heard that there are many places in Japan where people write wishes on a mini board and hang it somewhere special. They say that there’s a fountain around here too… apparently many wishes come true.
“Can we go somewhere peaceful and write wishes down?” I ask. Jaejoong steps back and looks at me with confusion.
“And you call that fun? Why can’t we go eat some more food or like go some-”
“Shut up, I said you get the privilege to decide.”
“Kay.” I reply, stealing his favourite blunt word.
“Don’t kay me.”
“This isn’t text, who cares.”
“Just kill yourself please.” I say, which is rather rude. “You bi- OIII why are you being so mean to me? We said we’ll be nice to each other.”
“I’m glad today is the last day.”
“So am I. I’m actually suffering so badly.”
“Just go get changed.”
“Kay.”
“You-”
“Hmmm? Continue your sentence please, or do you have nothing to say?”
“Oh my gosh!” I yell in frustration, I guess it’s been way too long since we’ve had an argument, and when we get back to Korea… things aren’t going to look very pretty.

“Oh wow Ka Eun, this place is actually really, really nice. I mean, it’s a quite large area with so many trees and wishes hung onto them.”
“I know, it’s so amazing, that’s why you should listen to me more often.”
“No thanks.”
“Well same goes to you, I don’t like listening to you either.”
“Alright then… I know this place looks good but why did you have to choose to come here? There’s like heaps of these in Korea, it’s nothing special.”
“People say lot's of wishes come true here.”
“You believe that?”
“Yes.” It's better to believe in wishes than to not. “HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA, you're so stupid.” He laughs. I’m not stupid, it’s just that this place has a good reputation and since so many wishes come true here, I may as well give it a go as well. Except… do I really have in mind something that I can wish for?
“Hey…since this place is so peaceful, don’t you reckon it’ll be a good idea to sit down under a tree and eat lunch?”
“I thought Kim Jaejoong only liked sitting in classy restaurants and eating expensive food.”
“No. Although the common life is smelly and uncomfortable, they can do some amazing things such as having a nice picnic and eating nice food. Plus, expensive food doesn’t always taste good. I remember a long time ago, I would roam around the common streets of Seoul and try out lots of food.”
“So the only thing you like about the common life is the food?”
“I guess so.”
“So you never actually experienced living life as a commoner and living under a cheap home?”
“I have, it was really depressing.” So I guess this g
