Chapter 1: My Most Awful Morning

I was walking up a long path of stairsteps. The room was so bright by the sun's rays that it nearly blinded me. I then noticed quickly that there was another woman by my side. How did I get here? Who is she? All these questions were stirring up in my mind, until I noticed that the women was my mom. I haven't seen her for 5 years, 2 months, and 10 days. I learned that my Mother was dead after I came home from school 5 years ago. My dad had murdered her. My first day of 2nd grade, ruined for life.

"Wake up! Wake up you Lazyass!!" called a familiar voice.

"They're calling me," I whispered softly to my Mommy.

"Wake up!!! NOW!!" the voice yelled again. There was a long silence until my Mom finally said, "Go back."

I replied quickly saying, "but Mommy? Can't you see what they do to me? I'm going to be their slave if I go back. I'm happy here with you! I won't bother you anym..."

"I'll give you another chance later on," my mother stopped me from finishing my sentence. "Next time, the choice will be yours." She then disappeared into the bright light.

"Can you wake up now?!!!!!!!!! You need to come help me cook! We have a birthday party today and it's already 7:24 a.m.!" the clearer voice screamed at me.

"I have a major headache. And I stayed until 12 last night cleaning all your mess you made from the movie night with your friends," I responded weakly back at her.

"I don't care about your excuses!" that Old Hag screamed back at me.

"What about the others? Aren't they....." "You can get up now!" the interrupted.

You're POV:

That's my sister-n-law. She always expect me to do the work around the house while her own children are doing nothing. But anyways, I've been sick this whole week and today was the first day I complained about it. I wonder what would happen if my mommy let me leave with her in my dream.

"Hey, take this medicine." I jumped by the unexpected voice and dropped my hairbrush onto the tile bathroom floor. It was Pana. She‘s my sister. She is the only one that I can trust. I wish she would get to be 18 quickly so me and her could live together in our own apartment instead of this trash house.

"Is everyone up yet?" my oldest brother asked. He was asking someone but seemed like he was talking to himself. He got mad as no one answered him. Then he spotted me combing my hair in the bathroom and asked me to tidy up the downstairs room after I was done with cleaning myself up.

"Yes," I replied, annoyed.

"Hey, come help me with this," my dumb sister-n-law asked. "Ok," I answered, even more annoyed that I started to swear in my head. Before I knew it, I was running all over the place cleaning up the my sister-n-law was making. Finally when I realized that those lazyasses were waking up, it was already 11:30. At last I was done with the dishes, mopping the floor and making my way up the stairs to clean the bathroom when halfway up, I realized I totally forgot about DOWNSTAIRS!!!! I rushed down there but as soon as I reached it, my brother came and hollered at me. "Didn't I tell you to clean that room a long time ago?!!!"

"Yeah but I was helping..."

"Excuses! Now get started!" that cut me! "Yeah, get that place cleaned too," my sister-n-law commanded. I always got cut in the middle of my lines. That's only because I'm not those kind of witty trash that always have to win.

"Ok," I replied. As I faced away from them, I could feel streaks of tears sinking down my face. The tears nearly blinded my eyes, causing me to tip over to the wall. I can't take it anymore. I'm such a fat . I blame others for my own mistakes. I don't deserve this life. Plus, why do I blame myself anyways?.....................
