After your boring lectures, you walked out of your lecture hall and sighed in defeat.

*I thought first day classes were hard...the early morning classes are much harder.*

Blowing a raspberry, you went to the library and got out books that you would need to memorize to survive.

"Oh, ahnyeong." A voice said, you looked up and saw Chunji.

You gave a slight smile and waved.

"What are you doing here? OH wait. Obvious question, just kidding." Chunji blushed.

*Why the heck am I so flustered around her?*

You nodded towards the seat, "Do you want to..sit?"

"O-oh yeah."

He sat down and asked, "So whatcha reading?"

"A book for English class." You answered.

"I see..interesting." Chunji nodded.

"Why are you..here?" You questioned, Chunji opened his mouth to answer.

"I mean. Not like you're not allowed to here. But you didn't have a book with you so I thought- I'll shut up now."

He chuckled, "Honestly..I came because I needed music composition books."

"Oh...are you a music major?" You questioned.

"Mhmm." Chunji nodded brightly, you could see that his eyes were shining at the mere mention of music.

BaekHyun watched carefully, "Maybe he isn't just a playboy..hmm...I'll keep my eye out for this one."

"Hey maybe you can help me!" Chunji exclaimed before the librarian shushed him.

"Me?" 

"Aren't you really good in music?" His eyes brightened.

"Umm..well."

"You can help me! I really at composing. And I heard SM High was really big on composing." Chunji said.

"Eh..." You awkwardly shrugged.

"Please?" Chunji pleaded.

"I won't be much help..the real composer was-"

*BaekHyun oppa.*

You paused and instantly Chunji noticed your mood change.

"I won't push...but don't be sad. Smile! You're extra-pretty when you do! And I'll talk to you later about our lesson okay? Bye!"

Chunji picked up a book to borrow and left you alone.

You sighed and flipped through your book.

You put the book down and saw Niel with a pile of books.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked, you shook your head.

Niel gave a look of relief and plopped all his books down, the pile bigger than yours.

"Those are a lot of books." You commented.

"I took extra courses just in case I want to switch majors." Niel explained.

"Oh." You nodded.

Niel focused on reading his book.

There was a comfortable silence while the two of you read.

You gave up on reading and let out an exasperated sigh.

"Problem?" Niel asked you.

"Just...reading doesn't work." You answered, mumbling.

"Maybe I can help?" Niel offered.

BaekHyun looked at him curiously, "Hmm..you're not too bad either. Kind, quiet, a bit too timid, but could be worked on..."

Niel blushed, "D-don't take it the wrong way! I-I have a girlfriend."

You gave him a strange look and smiled reassuringly, "Don't worry Niel. I'll appreciate your help only, I promise."

"Just kidding, timid boy has a girlfriend. Figures." BaekHyun muttered.

Niel explained to you everything you needed to know.

Your eyes widened in understanding.

You beamed, everything made sense now.

"I get it! Thanks Niel!" You smiled, hugged him and ran off.

Niel smiled, "That's the first burst of emotion I've seen from her."

Then he proceeded to reading his book and texting his girlfriend.
