The Shelf Of Broken Dolls
Description
In a small shop lived an old doll maker, who spent his life carving out dolls of all sorts. They were all filled with promise and a future – somewhere. What was special about each doll, varied with it structure and design; from hair, to clothes, to the material in which they were fabricated. However, no matter how beautiful their features; no matter sturdy their material; no matter how fine the needlework, he could never truly ensure that the perfection of the doll would stay forever. Accidents happen; visitors make careless mistakes; and sometimes buyers return with the dolls in conditions that cannot be salvaged from.
For all those poor dolls, he sat them on a shelf overlooking the rest.
They sat in a single row, all were defective. Some had more apparent defects such as missing or broken limbs, while others looked physically perfect but were missing something within them. Each was different in fault, though they all had two things in common: they were defective, and seldom wanted.
Despite this, he never left them to collect dust. He kept them in the same conditions as the ones below, because no matter how broken a doll was, he knew they’d be perfect for someone.
Foreword
To clear up any misconceptions, this is not a fanfic. Rather, this is a collection of fanfics.
Each 'chapter' will introduce a 'doll' . This doll is an objectified form of the main character in each of the fanfics. In each of the chapter there would be a short clip that would hint who is in the story, what is the "broken" part of the main character, and so on, but there's a catch. There is also alot of insignificant information and red herrings so be careful. /winks
So, because this is a collection, each of the stories would not be more than twenty chapters (if I can help it). Also I'm writing the stories one by one and right now only one of the stories is out... so yea. I'm only doing it one by one so that I don't get confused, because if you know me, I get confused easily. >.> I'm sorry.
On a side note, I can't tell whether or not all of the fanfics are [M] themed or not, probably not. So I didn't tick the [M] box, however, you have been warned! Also, just because a story is marked [M], does not mean that it contains . It could just mean foul language, violence and other mature themes.
This collection would only contain Infinite and/or Exo and original characters. Also I wish to make the stories inter-related, which means that each character that I create, each role that I create will exist in all stories. So if a main character girl is paired off with someone, there's no way that the member will end up with another girl. Also the fanfics can be at varied time periods. Some may be parallel to others while some are of the past, and others are of the present or future relative to the time period created in the stories.
Finally, I can't guarantee how much stories are in this collection, it'll probably go on until I can't find anymore "broken" things to write about :P
Anyways, please enjoy! Oh! right, nearly forgot, these stories are all from my imagination, resemblance towards any person, actual incident, or other fanfics is purely coincidental, and I'm sorry I'm not the most imaginative person in the world. It can't be helped, there's seven billion other people who live here, so if anyone diagnoses me with cryptomnesia, I can't be held responsible. /shrugs
