사려 계획: Thoughtful Planning
Without HesitationAs you begin to plan the activities for you and Myungsoo's 'tutoring session,' you decide it would be best to create a list of 2-3 things for you guys to study. But with eager hands, those 2-3 easily turn into 4-5, then 5-6, and eventually, you've filled an entire paper full of fun and interesting activites for the two of you to do:
- Figuring out what the reader wants to hear
- how to make an intriguing introduction
- TAG: Theme, Author, Genre
- Thesis statements
- body paragraphs
- The role of word diction
- adding quotes
- grammar
- conclusions
- the meaning of the work as a whole (theme)
Eventually, you'd come to the conclusion that in order to help Myungsoo with his scores, he'd need to come in for tutoring at least once a week for the next card marking.
"Crap!" you exclaim, "I should've never agreed to this! I can't see him that freaking often, I'll DIE!" You fall back onto your collection of stuffed animals and squeeze one of them tightly as you contemplate how you were going to help Myungsoo with his English scores. Your cat Mittens purrs and wraps her small body around your leg reminding you to keep calm. But, with your excessive planning for you and Myungsoo's tutoring, you'd eventually come up with an entire binder filled with different types of lesson plans and games to play that would help him to better understand how to improve his grade. You may have went overboard..
"Now that I've got that down," you reply to Mittens, "I've got to plan what we'd be eating."
You shuffle over to your disappointing excuse for a kitchen and tentively search through each one of your cabinets and drawers until you came to the conclusion that you'd simply make him ramen. "Everyone likes ramen, right?" you ask Mittens, searching for some type of response in order to calm your nerves. She gives you a long and hollow meow, letting you know that you were on to something amazing.
"Good." you answer with a coy smile, "What's next?"
With another one of Mittens rough meows, you remember that you needed to start cleaning up.
"Right," you sigh, "cleaning: the most important part."
After grabbing all of your most important cleaning tools you begin to thoroughly clean each and every room in your house.
"I wish mom was here to do this," you passively admit to Mittens, "she was always better at it then me."
You're mother died when you were just about 6 or 7 in a fatal car crash. You never truly got to know her since she was usually off working her demanding job, but whenever you got the chance you two would always cook and clean together. Though you can't recall many of her features due to the lack of pictures of her left around the house, you do recall her having long silky black hair that went down to her back and always being dressed so casually around you. You remember her smile, and how strict she was on certain matters.
After she passed away your father got a job in South Korea, he was a worker at some fancy insurance place. But when he got promoted to assistant manager at their larger corporation back in the states, you'd decided to stay in Korea with your big brother Chunji.
Eventually, you're brother got accepted into one of Korea's most prestigious Universities to become a lawyer and you decided to stay at your home. Since this was your senior year, it'd only be a matter of time until you too were in some big University. But until then you'd decided that you'd rather stay in Korea with your aqquaintances then to move back to the states, which were filled with strangers.
"Ah, finally done!" you yawn as you slowly fall back on your old couch filled with old springs and even older fabric. "Now that that's done," you announce to Mittens, "Let's get ready for tomorrow's date."
