For many generations, Korea had been a long and sucessful era of Monarchy. One of the greatest ruler was perhaps Emperor Choi Siwon. Apparently his majesty suffered from ilness and time is ticking away fast. He decided in the year 2005 his 15 year old Son Lee Donghae was to become the only heir to the throne.

With only a few months before Donghae's 21st Birthday, Empress Park Bom, Donghae's step mom announced that it is time for Donghae to find seven new mates. The news from the Imperial Palace swarmed throughout Korea, and before you know it Thousands and thousands of girl's applied with the  dream of bearing a child with the young, handsome Emperor .

 

One of those Girls was called Im Yoona, (18) it wasn't for the undying love of his majesty, She doesn't even acknowledge the Imperial palace nor does she know anything about it,It was more because of her despair. When their father left them with nothing Yoona was forced to support her family by working three jobs a day plus despite the fact she was also forced to marry her drug addict cousin.

She hated every bit of her life, she wanted to rescue her family from poverty and nevertheless herself. She wasn't aiming to become the 1st concubine (EMPRESS), but to become at least one of the seven wives, this means her family will live luxuriously.

Little did she know that beneath it's Immaculate facade betrayal , seduction, power and 6 other concubines will stoop to desperate measures to bear the Emperor's son.

Foreword

Hey Guys, So basically the story is modern + i know the description sounds really boring but trust me it will be intense!!! + I did that on purpose so that  i won't reveal so much in the story.

Basically what happens is The New Emperor (Donghae) picks seven wives, Each wives gets a rank, The highest ranking Concubine is regarded as The Empress.
