Pet Haven
Description
Oh Ho Mi is an animal lover. From cats to dogs to hamsters to guinea pigs and snakes as well, she has always had a soft spot for them. Even on Christmas, she was gifted a kitten, something she had always wanted. Sadly, much to her disappointment . . . animals can't seem to reply her affection as they're always too afraid of her forever energetic and excited self when she sees them.
In this short fic, she discovers ways to overcome this defect and in fact find romance in the process . . . All it took was a little tender, love and care . . . ^_^

Now, I now this fic might seem a little familiar . . . Probably it is out there but the idea came as I kept playing with my 6 kittens. They're currently 3 months and are so fat and playful... Gah! XD They're such a handful. Not to mention 3 more coming soon... Phew~ Anyways, after rethinking this idea, the thought had come across that my fic might have some slight similirity to the manga 'Beast Master'. Love that manga... No offence manga readers... I said it MIGHT be... Am still not sure but whatever it is, my apologies and credits to the creator of 'Beast Master' manga...

Foreword
Excerpt:
Mom giggled and placed a hand on my shoulder as she eyed me clutching my art set despite my eyes darting straight at Se Hun who was enjoying his new things happily. “What’s wrong, dear?” she asked, noticing my small frown on my lips.
I looked up, a little taken aback by her question and faked a smile. “It’s nothing, mom. I’m fine,” I lied straight through my teeth.
She turned to Dad and they exchanged a look before Dad disappeared to the kitchen. She turned back to me, leaned down on her forearms so she was levelled with my face and asked, “Do you remember last time, when we passed by that pet shop and you saw that cute little Tabby by the window?”
My eyes widened as I turned myself around to face her and gasp, “No way!”
She nodded and in came Dad with a pet carrier and inside heed the very same Tabby I wanted. I shrieked and jumped over the couch so I could take the carried off of Dad’s hands. He was chuckling as I heaved it to the living room and placed it on the ground. I dropped by the front and looked excitedly inside.
The white Tabby was curled up in a corner, its blue eyes wide and scared at the sudden commotion. Slowly, I opened the door and called it out. It was hesitant but after some time, it eventually came out and I was too impatient. I picked it up and held it up as I admired its cuteness and beauty. I let out another shriek and hugged it tight.
“Oh my God, Mom, Dad, I love you so much, I will love it forever and ever and ever and ever!!!” I yelled in one breath as the cat was beginning to mew in fright.
Suddenly, too frightened to bear my love for it, my cat scratches me so I’d let it roam free. I was quick to let it drop and it went scampering to the kitchen. I pouted as I watched the cat in disappointment.
