Im Yoona:
Im Yoona is a young, talented woman. She can dance, sing, model, and even act. Her life long dreams is to become a highly successful Korean pop star. She had been training for seven years by taking dance, voice, and acting classes to improve her talent. She's outgoing and very intelligent. She's normally a sweet woman, but she often shows bitterness after her mother gave her up at the age of seven. She remembered everything. She remembered her mother talking to a social worker about adoption, her final goodbye to her mother, and her mother's last words.
Wang Fei:
Wang Fei is the oldest member in the popular group, Miss A. She sees all the men's interest in Yoona as soon as she debuts, so she decides to propose a plan to Yoona to help her in the business and at the same time, help her gain revenge. Fei is very mature, caring, and kind. She's Chinese, and is a very good singer and dancer.
Park Bom:
Like Fei, Bom is very mature. She's very thoughtful of everyone's feelings, and has hate in her heart after being heart broken. Bom teams up with a couple of girls to transform Yoona into the ultimate woman that everyone would want.
Park Gyuri:
Park Gyuri is a fashionista. She believes in herself so much that she actually believes that she's the most beautiful woman in the industry. Even though she has a conceited side, she also has a soft side. She likes to take care of her other members in Kara. She's very outgoing and believes that there's always time for improvement.

Choi Seunghyun is the ultimate ladies' man. He gets all the girls and all men praise him. He's intelligent, talented, and handsome. The only thing wrong about him is that he is the biggest womanizer in the industry. He dated Gyuri, Fei, and Bom broke all their hearts. He looks at love as a game and doesn't take it too seriously. He's in for a challenge once he meets Im Yoona.
Foreword
Yoona was adopted at the age of seven by a sterile Korean couple. As soon as the adoption was finalized, her new parents brought her along with them to California. At the age of seventeen, she was suddenly asked by her biological mother to return to Korea to spend her whole summer with her. Because of Yoona's bewilderment, she quickly denies the request because of her belief that her mother was a vile woman that gave her up just because of the fear of responsibility of being a mother. Yoona then finds out that her mother married another man after giving her up for adoption, and now she's filthy rich. Although her husband died one year before Yoona's sudden contact with her mother, she is left with all his money. She's one of SM Entertainment's top shareholders and Yoona sees it as an opportunity to achieve her dream of debuting in a Korean pop group. Yoona thinks of it as an opportunity to get something out of her mother after all she had done to her in the past.
Aside from Yoona's family problem, Yoona finds herself to be in a scheme once she debuts in a girl group. She quickly becomes friends with the new members in the group, but because she is the newest face around, there are a ton of boys that try to get her attention. That includes Choi Seunghyun. He's the most arrogant, cocky, and mischievous guy in the business. He dated the prettiest girl in the top major companies including Gyuri, Bom, and Fei. The three brokenhearted girls come together to plot his heartbreak. Their plan includes molding the innocent and inexperienced Yoona into the "it" girl that even he would go crazy for.
Yoona's plans spiral out of control as she tries to balance her new career and her relationship with her mother. She finds her plans changing once she gets to know her mother more and when she becomes more personally involved with her career. She finds her summer in Seoul to be life changing as she discovers more about herself, life, and love.
