Chapter 2; Message

After trying to explain what happened in the salon I only heard questions and reproaches; ¿Yah! who was that guy? ¿Did you get his phone? ¡Remove it! ¡No, keep it! I Just didn’t knew what to do and I didn’t wanted to give it too much importance, I saw him only like for 2 minutes … it shouldn’t be important ¿right?

A The next morning we woke up early as usual and we were eating cereal for breakfast

-Ahhh … The nerves are killing me - said Sunhwa leaving the spoon aside and supporting her elbow on the table and her face against her fist, I didn’t knew what she was talking about, but I was afraid it was about yesterday-

- ¿Why are you being like this Unni? You’ve worked hard like all, our presentation will go well today - said Ji Eun to Sunhwa touching her hand and eating cereal with the other-

- ¿Today we have presentation? – I ask casual

-Of course we have and it will be a hit-Screamed from the kitchen Hyosung

- ¡Yah! Do not be nervous- I pointed to Sunhwa-If you’re nervous, I’ll be nervous too - I made funny faces of sadness

Sunhwa was very nervous and was controlling her breath

-We just have to be positive and give the best of us- smiled Ji Eun so maternal and Sunhwa smiled her back

In the dressing room 15 minutes before the live performance

-Ohhh eotteoke – Sunhwa was complaining

Hyosung was getting the finishing touches to her hair. I was very excited and I peered through a door just a little to see the public. There were too many and they were very impatient, I could only smile at the feeling of nerves and shut the door again. Then I heard my cell phone rang, I opened it quickly, it was a message from…Oppa…

I didn’t knew if L.Joe was his real name so I just save his number as “Oppa” … eotteoke?… I opened the message

Message From Oppa:

Annyeong Haseyo … Manicurist dancer and rapper ¿right? Wow! You must be requested kkk I’m very anxious to see your performance, I’ll be watching, Annyeong

What …? he … will be watching? -I peered through the door again foolishly trying to find him in the audience, come on … not everyone has orange hair ¿right? … It was in vain, I couldn’t see from whom was an arm or from whom was another

5 Minutes! I heard somebody shout

¿What? ¿Why I felt so nervous? ¿He would truly be watching? ¿But where? Maybe he would be at home watching from his TV. I felt like someone touched my shoulder, it was Ji Eun.

-Unni ¿this presentation will be on TV? – I ask so innocent

-Of course not, this is a live concert -Smiled so maternal, as only she knew

Oh no …he was here… ¿but where?. We went up on stage and I heard a lot of screams and scandal, but I was so focused trying to find out that orange hair in the crowd but I only saw phosphorescent signs and fluttering hands. I took my position and the music started.

-Oh, nae mamiya, mamiya, mami, mamiya- Was singing the girls

-Yeah, I’m going to tell you a secret, are you ready – I smiled and continued the show-

At the end we returned to the dressing rooms. The girls took a bottle of water and sat down exhausted

-¡That was amazing! ¡Everyone loved it!- Ji Eun began with a huge smile

- ¡Wuuuuu! –Came out a little scream of excitement from Sunhwa and covered her face ashamed-

I just nodded and turn toward the stage door … I wanted to look out

- ¡Yah! ¿What are you doing? - Hyosung threw me a pillow

I pretended indignation and I showed her my tongue

-I was just looking at the door for one minute- I threw her the pillow back

- ¿Oh just that? Or…¿could it be you were looking for someone in the audience?- insinuated Hyosung and my other two companions turned confused-

I opened my mouth to deny it but nothing came, I didn’t knew what to say … first of all ¿how did she knew that?

- ¡Aha! – She pointed me- It was that guy ¿right? ¡He sent you the message! - Hyosung crossed her arms full of pride for having me discovered-

-¿A guy? - Ji Eun mention

-¿Message?- Repeated Sunhwa confused

I Turn to Hyosung and I made her a gesture of discomfort

-Yes, it was that guy but it was nothing important- I confront Hyosung

-¡Unni!- Sunhwa screamed excited and ran toward me to hug me-¿What did he say? ¡Tell us!-She began to my hair-

-Well … he just said that he was anxious to see my performance and that he would be watching- I watch the ground a little embarrassed

-True- Hyosung nodded, she turned for a moment and toke my cell phone of the table-You have to call him and tell him where to be found-

- ¡What! – I exclaimed and ran to Hyosung to take her away my cell phone but she also ran and locked herself in the bathroom

- ¡Unni! –I hit the door- ¡Unni give me my phone back!- I hit stronger- Don’t do it ¡Unni!-… the door opened

-Done, you have to seeing him on the back exit in 5 minutes- She smiled and put my phone in my face, I just stand there without any reaction and the 3 girls looked at me

-Come on Unni, your oppa is waiting for you- Hyosung smiled at me again but when she saw I didn’t have any reaction said- Oh come on, don’t be like that and be thankful that I’m not going to see him with you- The atmosphere became uncomfortable

- … I’ll help- Sunhwa took me by the shoulders trying to improve the things- You have to change your clothes and get pretty-Ji Eun followed her with the clothes in her arms

-I’ll help- Said Ji Eun … ¿I was really going to see him in 5 minutes? ¿Why? ¿Why? I was so nervous … I don’t even knew who he was or if he will be waiting for me on the exit… But now I’ll have to find out.
