Description

there's still a kingdom in this 21 century, but it's not all like the ancient times, it's modern now, that's not much tradition, there's only one tradition they went through, that is to marry the one who fated for the prince, and they know it from the fortune teller. Donghae was the prince, and Hyukjae was the fated wife of Donghae.. but Hyukjae was a boy and it has never been happened in the entire history. so then what will happen?

What if.. There all arranged from the start? God arrange me for this. For the hurt that I felt. For the heartbraking feeling in my heart, for this all aches my heart felt, God arranged it for me. It's called... fate.

For my family bankrupted when I'm young, for the royal family who being told that I'm a boy, who's devoted to be that new born baby's wife, that we were bonded by God, it's called fate. For my family to agreed their help and sent me to the kingdom. It's fate.

So the marriage that arranged today. It's fate too. The question is, am I happy? No, the answer is no, because I felt nothing. I felt uneasy. Insecure to be exact. I felt scared. I'm tired. Too tired of this pokerfaces.

oh, dear. first of all, thank you so very much for writing this lovely piece, it made my heart ache for hyukjae and my blood boil at donghae.

i'm reading (and re-reading) old haehyuk stories and stumbled upon this one just today and. my goodness, donghae is straight-up cruel and heartless to hyukjae. like, it's fine that you're not happy with being married to someone of the same gender, but to insult, humiliate, and degrade someone who used to be your closest friend? and call him useless when all he does is his best for you? he does donghae's homework, draws the bath, cooks and cleans for his and what does donghae do? lie through his teeth just to maintain an image. i can't even -

i'm equally astonished by how much hyukjae's rose-colored lenses and heartbreakingly naive optimism in donghae one day returning his feelings are. i think he's strong for putting up with donghae's level of bs-ery, but at the very same time, i sort of feel like knocking some sense into his pretty head because of how he's just /accepting/ the abuse because he's the "wife". honey, just no. no one should ever be put down that way, regardless of status or identity.

though it may be a long shot, i honestly do hope that if you ever continue this story, precious author-nim, that hyukjae accepts kibum (who - crossing fingers - is a decent person and not planning to kick down hyukjae even more) or someone else who will love him and show him he's worth more than just a prince's servant - oh, i'm sorry, /wife/. and that donghae gets due karma and spends a long time making it up to hyukjae, without the latter giving in to puppy eyes and pretty (empty) words.

hi..just found out about this story...and it is amazing...i really hope you could continue with this story..the plot is great..i have never read something like this. makes me want to anticipate the next update...wonder what will hyukjae say to kibum..i wish u update and continue with this story whenever you have time^^
