BREAKFAST or RUN FAST?!

“WWWAAAHHH!!! So pretty~” Shindong exclaimed as he goes out of the car
*BOOG*
“OUCH!!! That hurts~” Sungmin exclaimed as he fell from his seat
“AISH!!! Shut up!!!” Heechul exclaimed as he buries his face under his pillow
“What the HELL is that?!” Kyuhyun exclaimed as he literally jumped out of his seat
“What is wrong with him?” Donghae asked as he rubs his eyes
“Fix yourselves and go out now. We’re already here.” Leeteuk instructed and went out
“Annyeong, halmoni~” Shindong happily greeted with a bow
“Anong sinasabi niya? (What is he saying?)” Maddie’s grandma asked
“Hi daw po, lola. (He said, Hi grandma.)” Maddie explained
“Yah! Oppas! Speak in English~” Belle reminded
“Oh, Yeah! Sorry~” Shindong apologized
“Make yourselves at home~ I’ll just cook breakfast for all of you!” Maddie’s grandma said and left
“Thank You, grandma!” Shindong thanked loudly
“Shindong hyung acts like he’s the only who’s going to eat~” Henry commented and everyone chuckled
“At least I know how to thank~” Shindong replied and tucked his tongue out
Just then, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Heechul and Sungmin joined them
“I’m hungry~” Heechul stated
“Let’s just wait for Maddie’s grandma to finish cooking breakfast” Leeteuk said as he taps Heechul’s shoulder
“Wait here~” Maddie said and quickly ran to the kitchen
Soon, Maddie came back holding a plastic
“What is that?” Yesung asked, pointing at the plastic
“This is what we call ‘puto’! This is made of purely rice and coconut only~” Maddie explained and showed the food
“WOAH! It’s big~ How do you eat this?” Ryeowook asked
“Haha~ you can pinch it if you want to” Maddie suggested
“Wow! This tastes so good~ What do you call this again? Pooh—poohtoh? Did I say it right?” Yesung commented as he finishes his food
“It’s called ‘puto’~ hehe” Maddie answered
After they finish all the puto, they started guessing what their breakfast would be
“Probably, hotdogs~” Leeteuk assumed
“Maybe, but I guess it would be egg” Ryeowook guessed
“No! Since we’re foreigners, it would be special~ So, it’s bacon!” Zhoumi joined
“Bacon could also be partnered with SAUSAGE!” Henry agreed
“Nahhh~ It would be pancakes!” Kangin proudly said
“Since there are pancakes, might as well add some waffles~” Siwon added
“There can also be some cereals~” Yesung guessed
“Cereals won’t taste good without milk~” Eunhyuk added
“Correct! And there would be orange juice!” Hangeng agreed
“I don’t like orange juice! I like mango juice more~” Kibum opposed
“I like strawberry juice~” Sungmin joined
“I like apple juice!” Donghae added
“I like water” Heechul simply said and everyone roared in laughter then…
“I hope its coffee~” Kyuhyun said and everyone stared at him
“Yah! Maknae!!!” Leeteuk shouted and Kyuhyun did not answer instead…
“Henry! Hyung’s calling you~” Kyuhyun called Henry
“AISH! Yah!!! CHO KYUHYUN!!! You are not allowed to drink coffee! You’re still young~” Leeteuk strictly said
“But hyung, that’s the only thing that keeps me awake when I play StarCraft at night~” Kyuhyun whined
“YAH!!! That’s not healthy for you!” Leeteuk scolded and pinched Kyuhyun’s ears
Good thing…
“Maddie! Time to eat~” Maddie’s grandma called
“Oppas! Let’s go~” Maddie called and lead the way
Before they reach the kitchen, they saw cereal boxes, a dozen of hotdogs,a can of saugsages, a box of flour for pancakes and waffles and more~
*WOAH!!! Is her grandma a fairy or what? Almost all the things we said a while ago are here! This is going to be fun!* they thought
“Sorry for the delay~ Maddie told me the things you wanted for breakfast so I cooked them all for you~” Maddie’s grandma said
“Thank you so much, halmeoni!!!” they chorused and went to hug the old lady
“It’s nothing, my dear boys~” grandma replied
A/N: When I say or type ‘grandma’, it refers to Maddie’s grandma. Ok? Thanks~
“Can we now remove the covers?” Shindong impatiently asked
“Sure! Go ahead~ I made those for all of you” grandma smiled and went to clean the mess she made while cooking
“OMO! Who’s going to remove it? I’m so excited!” Henry happily leaped
“I’ll take it off~” Leeteuk volunteered and went up to remove it
Just as before Leeteuk can remove the first cover, Maddie and Belle bursted out laughing which made everyone curious~
Leeteuk was shocked of their sudden action and quickly pulled the cover of the first food
“Oh! Egg~” Ryeowook smiled as soon as they saw the egg
Leeteuk removed the second cover and everyone GASPED~ *except for the 2 evil girls~ hehe*
“What the HELL is that?!” Heechul asked, pointing at it
“That’s a dried fish~” Maddie simply answered, trying to control her laughter
“Dried fish?” they asked in unison
“Yes~ You see, these are just some of all the dried fishes in the Philippines. This is what we call ‘daing’.” Belle taught
“That’s right! And this is ‘daing na espada’, ‘danggit’, ‘daing na pusit’ and ‘tuyo’.” Maddie introduced as she points at every dried fish
A/N: ‘tuyo’ in the Philippines means ‘dry’ =))) ‘espada’ is the sword fish. ‘pusit’ means the squid. And ‘danggit’, I’m not really sure about what kind of fish it is, but it’s a dried fish~ hehehe
“Oh boy~” they all murmured
Leeteuk removed the last cover and they all had questioned faces
“What is that? Why is it color black?” Kyuhyun asked
“It’s what we call ‘dinuguan’. It’s my favorite dish~” Maddie explained with a smile
“Ohhh….” they said while nodding their heads
“Don’t worry that’s edible~ It’s just meat with green chili and blood” Maddie said with a smile
A/N: ‘dinuguan’ is a dish here in the Philippines that has the ingredients: pork meat and its blood~ hehehe ‘dugo’ in Filipino means blood~ hahaha
“WHAT THE—~” Kyuhyun exclaimed
“Seriously Maddie?” Ryeowook asked
“I thought you told halmeoni everything we wanted?” Henry asked
“Yes, I did! I told her that you wanted to taste some dishes here in the Philippines~” Maddie smiled
“MADDIE!!!” they chorused
“Come on~ It doesn’t taste bad!” Belle persuaded
“OH PUHLEASE!!!!” Sungmin exclaimed
“Don’t judge it by its looks~ If you try to taste it, I doubt that these are enough for all of you~” Maddie assured
“Oh boy~” Heechul gulped
“Oh girl~” Hangeng gulped too
“OH MY GOSH~” everyone whispered with a gulp
