Flow Like A RiverPrompt 3: Conniption
Character: Aaron Yan
Taiwanese singer Aaron Yan maintained a neutral expression as he scrolled through the comments under his latest Weibo post. Ocassionally, a scoff could be heard or a frown could be seen; but otherwise, his face remained blank of any emotion. He had a magazine photoshoot to get to in about an hour, but his manager had needed to return to the company and retrieve something. He was leaning against the wall near the entrance of the building, initially offering a nod or smile to anyone that passed by; but it was Saturday, which meant the company was mostly deserted. Having become bored after several minutes, he had decided to kill time by checking his social networking accounts.
A particularly direct comment caught his eye, causing him to pause momentarily. He rolled his eyes and briefly wondered whether he should reply to the fan, but then shook his head and thought better of it. After all, he thought, some things weren’t worth having a temper over. As he resumed scrolling through the page, he allowed his thoughts to wander…
He thought it was rather amusing that the media (and ocassionally some of the fans) were still shocked by his candid behavior. After all, it had almost been ten years since his debut. Yes, he had changed, but there were some things that couldn’t be changed and his frankness was one of them. And honestly, the young idol had learned years ago to ignore the surprised responses, only explaining himself should the situation become too out of hand.
