"In order to be succesful you have to set aside your feelings and focus on why you've trained for many years. Everyone's dream is to be an idol and conquer the stage, but behind all the glitz and glam are also people who fall in love. But then again, you came here to train and become an idol. I hope you all understand why all of you aren't allowed to be in a relationship with each other."

Lee Sooman puts down the mic and the SM idols clap their hands. Everytime they had a meeting, Sooman always reminded them about the 'little rule' when you're an sm idol.

Taeyeon claps her hands together but deep inside, her heart is aching.

She looks around and she meets Suho's eyes on her. She quickly averts her gaze. *why must it be this hard* she thought.

Foreword

Taeyeon removed her mic and placed it on the small table inside Music Bank's waiting room. Tiffany and Seohyun were still at the stage, chatting with fellow idols. But Taeyeon wasn't feeling well that day so she opted to go back to room instead. She sat on the couch and kicked off her high heels. It was a long day. They had to record Twinkle thrice and Taeyeon felt that it was all her fault because she wasn't able to sing her high notes that well. She sighed and closed her eyes. Minutes later, the kid leader fell fast asleep on the couch.

"Hyung" Kai called out to Suho. "I'm hungry. Can I go to the waiting room and get my beef jerky? pleaase?"

The Leader waved him off. "I'll go get them myself Kai. But only this once. Remember the time when you tried to sneak in chips at a recor-"

"I know, I know. Just go get them now Guardian." Kai said with a smile. "I know I can count on you."

Joonmyun made his way to the backstage successfully avoiding the manager. He turned the doorknob to Taetiseo and EXO-K's joint waiting room and opened the door slightly to check if it was okay to come in. "Can I come in?" he asked.

No answer.

He went inside and found Taeyeon fast asleep on the couch. His gaze was on her for a few seconds but Joonmyun reminded himself why he was there: to get Kai's beef jerky. He searched the room and found a pack of Kai's snacks, he quickly grabbed them and walked to the door. His hand was already on the knob but a part of him wanted to keep Taeyeon warm. It was cold inside the room and she was wearing a short skirt. Joonmyun closed the door and grabbed a yellow blanket that must be Baekhyun's. He put it over Taeyeon.

"tsk. noona, why do you sleep with these clothes on... you'll catch a cold." he said while fixing the blanket. His face was inches away from hers and he couldn't stop himself from admiring Taeyeon's milky white skin.

Joonmyun was about to go out of the room and as if on queue, Taeyeon lets out a loud snore. He shakes his head and looks back at the kid leader. "Sleep well noona."
