“hey! What’s the real reason why you want to hang-out with me so suddenly?” Jessica asked. They were both walking around the mall

“why? I can’t hang-out with my friend slash roommate?” Sooyoung said curiously

“aniyo! It’s not like that! Hey, can we go over there?” Jessica asked pointing to an ice cream parlor

“my treat!” she added smiling

Sooyoung then grabbed Jessica’s hand and walked toward the ice cream parlor. Jessica smiled seeing Sooyoung’s cuteness.

“what do you want?” Jessica asked as soon as they entered

“chocomint” Sooyoung replied grinning. Jessica ordered 2 chocomints for her and Sooyoung. They went to a table near the corner and talked while waiting for their orders

*Beep*

Sooyoung took out her cellphone and found a text from Changmin. Sooyoung grinned when she saw his name

*message*

Changmin: hey! Are you busy? Kekeke! If you are sorry to disturb you! hehehe! ^__^

Sooyoung: aniyo! I’m not busy! I’m just hanging-out with Sica! Hehehe

Jessica noticed that Sooyoung was smiling widely and it made her curious so much….. and hurt

Who is that she’s texting that made her smile like that? And why am I feeling jealous?

“who’s that?” Jessica asked curiously

“Changmin” Sooyoung replied not taking her eyes off her phone. Minutes later their orders arrived and they began eating. Jessica kept on staring at Sooyoung who was so busy texting Changmin.

How could she be so busy texting someone while she’s hanging out with me? Even if it’s a friendly hang-out, she shouldn’t be so busy with her phone.

Changmin: by the way, have you already talked to Sica about what Tiffany said?

Sooyoung: omo! I almost forgot about that! Gee, thanks, Changmin for the reminder! Kekeke ^__^

Changmin: hahahaha!!! :D how could you forgot? Hehehe! So cute! And you’re welcome! 

Sooyoung: hehehe! :D

“um, Sica, I want to talk to you about something” Sooyoung said

“it’s about Tiffany” she added. Jessica who was staring at the window beside them looked at Sooyoung then back to the window

“I don’t wanna talk about it” Jessica said quietly

“Look, Jess can you at least talk to her? Again” Sooyoung pleaded

“why do you even care? She broke your cousin’s heart. Shouldn’t you be angry at her?”

“why should I be? I know why she did it anyway. So there will be no reason  for me to be angry to her.”

“and what did she said? that it was all her mother’s fault? Wow! She even used the same reason she told me to you!”

“what do you mean?” Sooyoung asked

“she said that it was all because of her mother” Jessica replied

“what!? She told me the reason why she left you is that she thought loving you would take away her pain!”

“eh? Aish, seriously! what a liar she is!” Jessica scratched her head in frustration

“I think you better talk to her! Please! She’s hurting! My cousin’s hurting! You’re hurting!”

“and why do you care if I’m hurting?”

Because I care about you, Jess! And I don’t know why, but seeing you hurt makes me hurt too

“unnie! You’re phone has been ringing so many time! Why aren’t you picking it up?” Hyoyeon asked

“I don’t want to” Taeyeon said flipping through the channels on the remote

“why? It’s Tiffany unnie, right?” Hyoyeon sat beside Taeyeon

“yeah! And don’t mention her name!” Taeyeon said quietly

“you still love her” Hyoyeon said bluntly

“what!? Why should I keep on loving someone who left me?”

“even if you say that you don’t love her anymore, deep inside you still do! I know you, unnie! So pls, give her a chance. Give your heart a chance. I know you’re hurting so much and I know that pain is still there. Answer me, unnie, do you still love her?”

“yes”

“then don’t be so stubborn and give her a chance. A chance to proof herself to you that she truly loves you” Hyoyeon then stood up after talking to her sister while Taeyeon sat there staring blankly at the ceiling, her tears silently flowing
