Fresh out of highschool in America, Lee Haena is actually attending school as a foreign exchange student. A beautiful young lady at the age of 19, blunt and independent, searches for her mother who had left her father and herself only one year into her middle school years. Her father had advised her just to stop looking for her mother, whom she loved so. She refused and used her foreign exchange opportunity as an excuse to leave and look for her. Having an optimistic disposition, she believes nothing could ever hold her back from attaining her goals of being a language teacher in her Native country, or from finding her beloved mother. During her high school years, she usually mingled with the boys of her school, seeing how she hated the obnoxious girl gossip that seemed like it followed girls everywhere.

 At the age of 23, Kim Sunggyu takes a part time job at a small teddy bear shop in the mall. Reasons why he works at this place continues to remain unknown. He’s a cheerful man who’s intent on hiding his past. Being a delinquent to his family, he was ridiculed from his family’s estate. He was now, just as Lee Haena, an independent individual that sought to return to college to find a direction in life. One would say this young man is quite talented, but as open minded he is to others, he doesn't seem to like opening up to just about anyone. Some might also that he's quite the ladies man, but he'd beg to differ and say you got the wrong guy.

How could it ever happen? A college girl who is looking for her mother, and a young man who is looking for a start in his life. How is that these two will meet? Just how exactly will their lives intwine with eachother? There can’t be much to be said how their lives will twist, but isn’t that how we all start off? As Strangers.
