Character Bios:

Nancy Wu: She thinks she’s the most unlucky person on the face of the Earth. It never occurred to her she had a father, not even remembering what he looked like. Her mother left her in her uncle’s care just two months after birth, so the word mom seemed to never be in the picture. Overly stubborn and independent, she refuses to bother her uncle with common expenses. She worked two to three jobs a day, fending for herself on the streets, and learning to ignore the rude comments and labels people seem to put on her. Everyday was the same, until the faithful day she ran into him.

Ron Ng: From a very young age, he’s learned that there’s a price for everything. He watched his own father get murdered by a gang of loan sharks, and his mother died shortly after that in a car accident. Growing up in an orphanage, he soon came to understand the endless struggle of life and society. Time passes by, and he finds himself in adulthood, alone. Focusing on his career, hoping for a better life, he worked his way up in a modeling company, Eden, he’s managed to set on a cover for himself, something that hides all his fears and weaknesses. But on that faithful day, he’s unknowingly revealed his true, innocent self to a stranger, in the works of supreme fate.
