Shin yeong found Kyungsoo sitting on the couch with a blanket over his head and body. His nose was red and

his eyes were droopy. He was watching Running Man and was laughing while coughing. She quickly ran over to

him and made sure he was bundled up tightly.

“How did you get sick, Kyungsoo ssi? Weren’t you fine yesterday?” Shin yeong’s voice was laced with concern.

“I don’t know. I just feel so terrible right now. Can you make me something yummy for my tummy please?”

Kyungsoo’s eyes gave off a puppy vibe and Shin yeong couldn’t help but smile at his adorableness.

“I’ll make some chicken soup and a few pastries for you. I’ll be in the kitchen. Please call me if you need some

tissue, water, or anything else, okay?”

  “Definitely,” He sniffled a couple of times and turned his attention back to the variety program.

   Arriving at the kitchen, Shin yeong hurriedly began to prep. Luckily, she found some chicken leftover in the

freezer and took it out to thaw on the counter. Rummaging the fridge, she found some carrots, peas, and potatoes.

On the cutting board, Shin yeong carefully peeled and diced the carrots and potatoes. She then brought out the flour

and baking soda from the pantry. She grabbed a few sticks of butter and the milk carton out and had set it to the

side. The pot she had set on the stove and filled with water was now boiling. She had finish prepping the chicken by

chopping it into smaller pieces. Shin yeong slowly added the chicken and vegetables into the pot. The noodles

leftover from yesterday were also added into the pot. She then added salt and pepper for taste. Some other

seasonings were also added. The soup was coming along well and so she decided to work on the pastries. In no time,

she had baked an assorted array of baked goods from cookies to small cakes. Shin yeong ladled the soup into a bowl

while the baked goods were left to cool on the rack. She quickly set the table for one and turned to the living room

to find Kyungsoo engrossed in watching the television. A shy smile crept on her face unconsciously. She stood there

staring at the back of his head for a long time before shaking herself back into reality.

Her soft voice called to him and lured him away from the TV set. He loved the way her voice sounded in his ear. If

she was a singer, he would make her sing for him forever. He found himself slowly walking over to the table with his

blanket still wrapped around his whole body. The soup was warm and tasted delicious. The chicken was tender and

just perfect. The noodles and vegetables were delectable. It was a definitely a feast. Kyungsoo had slurped down the

soup down to the last drop before setting the bowl down. The tray of goods that had been set aside to cool was now

in his peripheral vision. He eyed Shin yeong only to find that she was cleaning up the kitchen. He dashed and

grabbed an egg tart. The tart, however, had not cooled down all the way, so Kyungsoo had to hold it with the tips of

his fingertips. Shin yeong turned around and found Kyungsoo wolfing down her treats. Her heart fluttered at the sight

of his smile. She was staring tentatively at him for a long time. She found herself growing fond of this particular EXO

member. Not because he was the only one that she was around most of the time, but because he had this charm to

him. She was dazing again, but soon caught herself before he made eye contact with her.

“I think I should get going,” she hesitated. She really enjoyed the silence between them but she also wanted to enjoy

her day off.

   A few coughs came from Kyungsoo before he spoke, “Can you stay with me today? I don’t want to be alone.”

 She sighed before agreeing. They both moved to the living room after finishing up in the kitchen. An awkward air

filled the room as this was the first time they were sitting together talking about stuff other than cooking.

    “So…tell me a bit about yourself,” Kyungsoo started. He had been really curious about her these days. He found

himself thinking about her late at nights.

“I’m eighteen years old. My birthday is on December 31, 1993. I just finished culinary school. Don’t tell anyone but

my dad made me skip a few grades to graduate early so yeah. Umm I like to cook and bake. I can’t dance.” He smiled

at her brightly as she began describing herself. “What about you?”

“Well, my stage name is D.O. but my real name is Do Kyungsoo. So call me Kyungsoo. I was born on January 12, 1993

so I’m older than you. Call me Oppa. I like singing. I’m usually the chef of the house but I hurt my wrist so we had to

hire you. I hope we can get to know each other better because I really like you…your cooking. I hope we can

exchange recipes sometimes.” Shin yeong smiled. Ahh so that must be why he didn’t like me at first.

   “I do too, D.O.ssi.”

“Now now, call me oppa.” He was teasing her. Her cheeks had turned a rosy red now, and he was enjoying it.

“Nae, Kyungsoo oppa,” she softly spoke.

  Their day passed with laughs and giggles as the two shared stories about each other’s lives. Occasionally, Kyungsoo

would sneeze here and there, but nonetheless they had a good time. EXO-K was starting to arrive home. As they

passed through the front door, they heard a strange conversation unfold before them.

“Kyungsoo oppa, I have to go now. I hope you feel better.” It was certainly Shin yeong’s voice, but when did she

become so close to Kyungsoo they wondered.

“Shin yeong ah, take care.”

  “Yah, what is going on in here?” Kai exclaimed. He was very confused. “When did you get so close? Aish you newlyweds make my head spin.”

  “NUNA! When did you start calling him oppa? Huh?” Sehun huffed. He blew a piece of hair out of his face.

  “This is really unfair! You have to call us oppa too!” Baekhyun and Chanyeol shouted. A commotion was boiling up in the dorms.

“Guys, calm down. It’s good that Shin yeong is becoming more close to us, but she has spent more time with Kyungsoo. Naturally, it is okay for her to call him whatever she wants. But you know, calling me Joonmyun oppa wouldn’t hurt, Shin yeong ah.”

“Alright alright. All of you are my donsaengs and oppas. I call Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Suho, or Joonmyun, oppa. I’ll also call Sehun and Kai by their names, okay?” Everyone seemed satisfied now. “Good, now I must get going. It’s getting late.”

“Annyeong!” EXO K shouted and waved at Shin yeong. She couldn’t help, but chuckle. They were such a silly bunch.
