Prologue: Second Chances

They say that when you fall in love, second chances are worth a take. There were instances that you give it to the person you love. As if you can’t live without them. But these second chances are not always right. Sometimes, all you need is forget the past and live with present and hope for the future.

“You were the best thing that happened in my life,” he said, looking at her, straight in the eyes.

She smiled sadly at him. Hurt can be seen in her eyes. “I feel the same as you do.”

He smiled back, bitterly. “Then why?”
