Eunhye comes from a wealthy family. Her parents run their own law company. Many students in her school want to befriend her because of her wealthy status. She attends the same high school as Gongchan.

Gongchan's financial status isn't as rich as Eunhye's. His father passed away when he was 5. His mother works as a cleaner, but her monthly salary isn't enough to support the both of them because she doesn't earn much. Gongchan works at a cafe at night, after school, so that he can earn enough to support his mother and himself. Popular in school because of his good looks.
