"You have your orders," The head angel told him. "You must keep the girl safe." 

He nodded understanding what his mission was. 

He had been training since for as long as he could remember for this.

She is the key to the Earth's survival. 

He is to keep her from him.

He didn't know that he would end up damning them all.

God knew.

He watched her go throughout her day.

He sat next to her in class, and watched as she would doze off when things got boring.

"You have a cute face when you sleep," He'd say when he watched over her at night.

He never took a look at her when she was changing or showering.

He was an angel after all.

He'd laugh with her, and be overjoyed at her victories.

He was her biggest fan.

"You have failed in your orders," The head angel said with furry.

"What do you mean?" Xiah asked.

Xiah didn't know what was going on.

"Last night you snuck into her dreams, and revealed yourself to her." The angel said.

How did they know?

Xiah knew that he couldn't hide his feeling anymore.

"I'm sorry," he said with his head hung low. 

The girl couldn't see him, but there he was in the shadows.

He was her angel. 

He was sent by God to protect her, but she wasn't of his world.

It was because he wasn't that He fell in love with her.

It was because he was told he couldn't have her that he wanted to fall from grace.

He was to watch over her.

Even if she didn't know he was there.

"But I love her. I will protect her from harm," Xiah said. 

Xiah stood strong, and mighty. 

He didn't know how close he was to the edge.

"Don't test the Lord," The head angel said.

"I'm not testing the Lord. I love you. I will protect her." Xiah said.

Xiah's tone was becoming more and more agitated. 

He looked at the girl, and couldn't imagine being parted from her.

Suddenly the sky became black.

They knew He was coming.

With one swift movement Xiah was casted down into the pit with his fallen brothers.

"Why?" Xiah spat out angrily.

He didn't have to ask.

He had traded everything for a girl who didn't know he existed.

"I see you have fallen mighty brother," The devil said to Xiah.

"Ay. I have fallen. All for a girl who doesn't know I'm real," Xiah said.

Xiah's pain and anger grew in his once pure heart.

His heart was now distorted with images of killing the one he loved.

He blamed it all on her.

"Have your revenge my beautiful son," The devil said.

Xiah disappeared at once. 

He had missed a lot.

She had gotten married.

His pain grew.

She had a child.

Dark clouds and dark energy swirled around him.

She was happy.

He ripped the house apart without second thought.

Her child cowered in a corner.

Xiah hated the kid. 

In moments the child was scattered across the world.

He found her husband and tortured him for a thousand years.

When he came upon the one he loved, she looked him.

Her eyes filled with sorrow and hate.

She was the one to end his life.

She was not of his world.

No.

She was greater.

She was the next in line.

Suddenly Xiah was back to the time before he fell.

"You have your orders." The angel said. "You must keep the girl safe."

No one knew what was to happen.

God knew.

Xiah would save the world by destroying everything she held dear.

She was not of His creation.

God tried to warn Xiah, but Xiah didn't listen.

He lived the same life four more times, but each time he made the same decision. 

Together they would bring about the end of days.
