Those That Fly [WINGS AND FINS CONTEST ENTRY]
Description
Donghae is involved in an accident and wakes up hospitalized. Although he doesn’t realize it at first, it is there that he meets a boy that can fly.
Foreword
Society says everyone is different, entitled to their own personalities and opinions. And yet, when something stands out, we try to change it so it's more “normal”, more understandable, to us. And if that doesn’t work, we extinguish it altogether.
What’s so bad about someone that just looks at the world with different eyes? Covering it with a sheen of rainbow? Imagining it to be something sweeter than the mechanical workplace it really is?
If their world is better than ours, why is it so necessary to pull them out of it?
Are we really “helping” by showing them reality?
