GENESIS

In the beginning before the existence of…existence, the three particle nations had coexisted (yes, coexisting before existence) peacefully in the midst of each other’s constant presence within the Potassium realm.

However, the relations between two of these nations, specifically the Electron and Proton nations, had been tense for as long as any of them could remember. The feud never seemed to die down, though the situation was more than tolerable most of the time due to the Neutron nation’s clever tactics of persuading the two nations to keep their special repulsion forces down to a minimum.

Unrelated to the feud, ever since the beginning of time (because time existed before existence), Prince Electron had always been rather attracted to the ever so perfect Princess Proton, especially when she had shown her more dark and wild side when the both of them had both been paired together unwilling in the Fluoro-realm. However, even with the constant requests of seeing her again, it appears that the Princess had been too apathetic and did not care for his requests, and Queen Neutron, who had been one of the main messengers between the two nations, after having been in the presence of protons more than electrons, had been more persuaded to follow through with the requests of the Protons, and thus, never permitted him to see her, EVER.

The news had gotten out far enough that the King Electron of the Potassium realm had finally found out about it and had exiled his own son (because these types of relations had existed before existence as well) to the Hydrogen realm where he would spend the next eternity…or two…or three…or ten billion, remaining single, with no other interaction besides the other lone proton who did not take a liking to him and repulsed, and the lone neutron which just did not care.

However, finally, after what seemed to be so many years (years existed before ex- okay, I’ll shut up), the Hydrogen realm had seemingly passed by the realm of Carbons in which he had found a lone electron which he found himself being absolutely shocked and enamoured by her beauty. Without much effort, the two had come together, starting out roughly at first, but finally creating a nearly inseparable bond which connected both realms for another length of time which existed before existence. This had been the first time which two realms had ever been bonded, creating other cataclysmic reactions which resulted in the beautiful extension of many other realms being bonded together.

The new formations had finally ended all the feuds, and the three particles were finally able to coexist happily, the protons and neutrons constantly remaining stable while the electrons circled around them, making sure that nothing came their way.

“Jin, that has got to be the-”

“You, shush! It has to start this way. The Chemistry Bible will soon exist!”

“The original Genesis did not have any love and attractions...nor did it have any mention of CHEMISTRY!”

The short woman looked at her Oppa, who was merely a few months older than she was, disappointingly. Art majors will never understand science, she thought to herself while continuing her abstract manner of writing on her laptop.

There had better be a point to this,Renn thought to herself as she looked over from her proverbial thought bubble that hung over the aforementioned Chemistry major above this segment.

“See anything interesting?”

“Just that art majors will never understand science.” Renn answered, not bothering to look behind her where she was peripherally aware of him standing.

“I take offense to that.”

“That’s because you’re the only music major here, hyung.” Said another, a boy, magically appearing from behind both figures already present.

“Oh my god! What is this??” Chansung’s eyes popped open when he read Genesis.

Across from him, sitting on the couch was Taecyeon, who just kept reading his book, ignoring the rather annoying outburst of a reaction from the younger man.

“Hyung! This. Makes. No. Sense.”

Taecyeon didn’t bother replying verbally, his only indication of a response being how he had subtly rolled his eyes, never diverting his attention away from his book. English majors would never understand science, he thought.

“Chansung.. You make us sound like we’re in Star Wars.” The man roll his eyes at the introduction.

“What?? I thought it’s cool.. If only we can get the same opening track...” Chansung was thinking hard about it.
