“Hun, we’re here” Himchan’s mother said. They stopped in front of a normal size family house. It’s pretty nice, since it’s in the suburbs. “Come help me get your things out of the car.”

“Mom, do I have to live here?” Himchan asked

“Yes, if you want to go to TS Academy and No, if you want to go back to your old school” she said as she got the suitcases out of the car. “You finish taking these out, I’ll go ring the door bell.” She walked to the door to ring the doorbell. Himchan didn’t pay attention to her and continued what she was doing. After Himchan finished, he turned to see his mom and another lady talking. The lady was pretty; she is wearing a red apron and is holding a spoon. She was probably cooking.

“Hi” Himchan said and bowed to her when his mother called him over.

“Omo, Yuri-ah your son is so handsome” she praised “come in, come in” she said and took his suit case.

“Channie-ah, umma’s going to leave or it’ll be really late when I get home. Have fun and be nice” Himchan’s mother said.

“Arraso umma, be safe” Himchan said and her mom left. The lady closed the door for her and they went to the living room.

“Himchan-ah, you can treat me like your real umma if you miss your umma. You won’t be seeing her until winter vacation (which is in a couple of months).” The lady said “wait, you know what; you can call me umma too”

“Umm. Sure, umma.” Himchan said.

“Omo, you’re so cute” Mrs. Bang (the lady) said “let me show you your room, it’s up stairs. Let’s go” Himchan got his stuff and followed Mrs. Bang upstairs. His room was the last one in the hall. That was easy for him to remember. Mrs. Bang opened the door and inside there are 2 beds and 2 desks on each side of the room. The walls are blue and most of the furniture is black. The bed on the left was already occupied by a sleeping boy. He’s pretty handsome and he dressed just like a rapper. Mrs. Bang woke him up immediately after seeing him like that.

“Yongguk-ah, get up. Himchan is here.” She said while shaking him.

“Umma, 5 more minutes,” he said and turned to the other side of the bed.

“Wake up now or I’ll throw away all your rap CD’s.” she threaten and he got up instantly. “Himchan, come here. This is Yongguk. He goes to the same school as you and he’s also your age. If you need anything or any help, just ask him, okay?”

“Okay,” Himchan said. Mrs. Bang looked and the clock and she just remembered that she has to pick Zelo and Jongup up from practice “I’m late, you two get to know each other. I need to go pick up Zelo and Jongup. Yongguk help Himchan unpack kay? I got to go” she said as she rush down to the kitchen to put down he spoon and the apron and went out the door.

-Back in the room-

“So, I need to be stuck with you for 9 months. You are sharing my room, my house, and even my mother, what do you have to offer back to me?” Yongguk asked him. Yongguk was too close to Himchan’s face for his comfort so, he started to back up. Every step that he took back, Yongguk took one forward. They continued until the distance between the wall and Himchan’s back was 0.
