Description
One fateful incident at a conference, concerning their new album "Lucifer", changes the rest of SHINee's career forever. Kim Jonghyun loses his temper and screams, on-air, at a reporter for saying something rude about Shin Se Kyung, his girlfriend. SHINee's manager and SM entertainment want Jonghyun punished for his behavior - and who has to do it? Onew.
Life for an idol is hard. Life for an idol, in a relationship, is even harder. Jonghyun can't handle the stress anymore. Why isn't he allowed to be happy too? Why can't everyone just accept it? The stress comes too much for him to bear - and he ends up making mistakes that may cost him and SHINee their jobs.

BluePheonix - I seriously can't thank you enough for everything you've helped me with. I know it may not seem like a lot, but seriously, it is. I was so close to giving up this story towards the middle there. I was stuck. I didn't know what else to write anymore. I had only planned the first six chapters or so in my head, and then made everything after that up as I went. I have learned my lesson from that. xD But anyway, I probably would have given up on this if you didn't give me some advice and ideas. I'm so happy that I stuck through with it. Plus, outside of this story, you've been a really cool friend~ ^^ Thanks for that too!

Foreword
"Listen to me and listen to me well, Jinki." The manager hissed. "I want Jonghyun punished."
Those words made Onew's blood run cold, sweat break out on his forehead, and his breath catch in his throat.
He had never ever beaten the members, he had only scolded them when they did something wrong or gently cuffed them upside the ear. A broom had never touched their skin that was held by his own hands - and he wanted to keep it that way.
The manager saw the hesitation in his eyes and pushed his forearm harder against Onew's throat, making him wince and blink back tears.
"If you don't do it," the older man snarled, "I will. And I won't stop."
Onew's eyes widened in horror and fear.
"And you know what ever punishment one member gets -"
"We all get, " Onew managed to choke out, lowering his eyes. "And I get double."
