Yuna sat on her desk with her eyes focused on the snow falling outside her window. Her stares were blank, though. It's as if she was only there physically but not in thoughts. Her mind was wandering somewhere else.   It was already winter. People can't go out of their houses without layers of clothes on due to the chilling weather. She was also cold, but not because of the winter air. She felt cold on the inside. And not only that, but she also felt empty.   Silently, tears started streaming down her pale cheeks despite her best efforts to hold them back. Yuna burried her face in her arms, not wanting anyone to hear her sobs. It had been a while since she last cried. Everyone thought she was already okay. She thought she was already okay. But apparently, she's not.   Her eyes scanned the room, trying to find even a small trace of him on one corner. But to her defeat, she found none. She then remembered how she ripped up old pictures of the two of them, burned every single thing inside this room that would remind her of him. And for that, she even cried harder.   Life had never been easy since he left; since they let each other go. Even breathing had been hard. There were even times when she can't remember how she survived the whole day. She would only find herself waking up the next morning very much alive despite the wounds inside of her that seemed to torment her soul.   Up until now, Yuna still can't figure out why their relationship ended. Who broke up with who? She has no idea. All she knows is that as each day passed by, they slowly floated away from each other. But it doesn't mean that the pain was lesser. As a matter of fact, it was more painful than any other break-ups she had in the past. It was so stressful for her that she found her life in ruins after they've ended it with each other.   Not wanting to let the pain and sandness get the best of her like it did before, she rushed out of her apartment, onto the snow-covered streets, not knowing where to go. She let her feet drag her somewhere else, if that's the only way she could overcome her feelings once again.   She kept on walking and walking, her eyes still empty. Everyone seem to be happy despite the cold, she thought to herself. There were kids making a snowman on their front yard, while teenagers were having snow fights on the streets. Happiness was evident in their faces. If only she could be this happy too.   But what made her even more gloomy was the sight of something she had been longing for quite sometime now. While trudging down the street, she passed by a restaurant's window. There weren't that much customers, mostly just elderly people having their afternoon coffee breaks. And then on one corner was a couple; both of them around the same age as her, having an intimate time with each other. She can see how the woman smiled at her partner lovingly while the guy looked at his girl like she was the only thing that existed.   She could almost hear how her heart sunk upon seeing those two. That's exactly how they looked at each other before. She saw how the same kind of love that she once shared with him glisten on the couple's eyes. Yuna remembered how they used to spend so much time together. They could even spend the whole day cuddled up on the couch, both not wanting to let go of each other.
