“Hyung, another letter? What does it say this time?” Ryeowook pried as he peeked from his station. Jongwoon nonchalantly handed the letter and sat down on his chair. The author of the book he’s currently handling already sent the revised manuscript to him and he needs to finish it by the end of the week.

                The older put on his glasses and started reading when the younger started squealing.  The former gave the man a skeptical look and didn’t utter a word.

                “Hyung! This is a love poem!”

                “A what now?”

                “A love poem! I’ll read it for you” Ryeowook cleared his throat a little before he began his little speech. The two didn’t notice the curious stares of the other workers.

Infatuation: Big word, simple meaning.

When I hear that word, I think about you.

I think about the way things are.

The way I wish they were.

I feel so foolish,

thinking about you.

Wondering if you're thinking about me too.

Watching you,

Hoping that as soon as I turn around you'll be watching me.

There is no point to my obsession.

All I see ahead is disappointment.

Is it purely superficial,

or does it go deeper than that?

Does any of it have meaning,

or is it just a waste of my time?

As I think about all this,

I wonder if I'll ever know you.

If I'll get over my fear and do something.

But what can I do?

All these thoughts are so mixed up,

and they're always in the back of my mind.

New questions without answers.

Infatuation: Foolish Love

                Everyone was left speechless, even Jongwoon himself. He even dropped the papers he was holding due to shock. Ryeowook’s endless squeals didn’t even faze him. He was determined to put an end to this embarrassment. He was determined to find out who was this person and give her or him a piece of his mind.

I have yet to finish writing HSR and Predicament so yea, kill me now! This is a one-shot also a birthday gift for someone. Will reveal it soon. Anywho, this fic is inspired by Yesung and Jang Hye Jin's I Am Behind You.
