Well, Rachel unnie has kind of cleared the whole situation together with Uncle Kim, I guess that's just fine.
Purely coincidence.
(Now, let's turn the clock a little faster...)
BREAKING NEWS: SMent ARTISTES ARE BACK TO KOREA AFTER A SPLENDID WORLD TOUR!
And we were at home watching the television.
Just then, our phones started ringing.
"Oh oppa? Welcome back." I said, Taemin oppa gave me a call.
"Are you watching the news now?" He asked, probably he heard the reporter reporting.
"Ne, are you on your way back to the dormitory?" I asked, I could hear the car engine though.
"Ne, the hyungdeul are all making calls so I thought of giving you a call to inform you that I arrived back safely." He said.
I looked at Soo Ah and Chae Rin, they were also on the phone, "Oppa, is Key oppa on the phone with Chae Rin?" I asked, kind of making a logical guess.
There's only two persons who will call Chae Rin at this point of time, Key or KyuHyun oppa.
Taemin asked and then verified wtih me, "Ne Min Ah, why did you ask so?" He asked.
"I looked at how Chae Rin is, I guessed the one on the phone is Key oppa instead of KyuHyun oppa." I said.
"Chae Rin would be using formalities with KyuHyun oppa, as for Key oppa, she simply treats him as though they are of the same age." I reasoned.
Taemin agreed, "I see. Good observations though, You are still so observant." He said.
"Komawo oppa. You must be tired, I shall not tire you even more." I was going to hang up.
"Jamkkanman." He said.
"Ne oppa?" I asked.
"I have got a gift for you, do you mind us meeting tomorrow?" Taemin asked.
"Naeil? Oppa, are you free from fixed schedule now?" I asked.
*Translations: Tomorrow?*
"I checked with the manager, we are having our break now." He said.
I checked our schedule and found some free time tomorrow after having language lessons.
"Ne oppa, we shall meet. I am free in the afternoons, But where shall we meet?" I asked.
"Remember the cafe that we always go to after school?" He asked.
I kind of remembered, "Ne! That cafe with a baby grand piano in it, that one isn't it?" I asked.
"Ne, that one. We shall be meeting at that usual seat. I called up the ahjumma and she reserved that seat for us already." He said.
"Oh! Komawo oppa. I miss the Sunshine Ahjumma though, she's really cute." I said.
Sunshine Ahjumma was someone who was really friendly and optimstic!
The next day, I went to the cafe right after language lessons.
(Of course, with disguises.)
I went up to the counter, took down my shades a little and looked at Auntie Sunshine.
“Omo omo! MiNi~~” Auntie Sunshine was really glad to be able to see me.
“Auntie Sunshine~~” We gave each other a hug.
“Are you here with him?” She asked, referring to Taemin.
I nodded, “Ne, oppa told me that he had already reserved that seat.” I said.
Auntie Sunshine led me to the seat, “And what do you want to eat today?” She asked.
I smiled, “As usual. Do lower the sugar level of the Macchiato, kamsahamnida.” I said.
She smiled, “Ne, I will serve the drinks first. Maybe give him a call then.” She reminded.
I arrive rather early as the location of the cafe is near the school.
I sent a text over to Taemin oppa and then I started looking around the cafe.
It hadn't really changed much, all the things are still the same, the wooden furnitures, the baby grand piano..
Oh, there's a change!
There's a KPOP corner specially for the teenagers.
I could see that my former high school juniors are there.
Posters are displayed and KPOP songs are played in there.
There's soundproof walls installed so it doesn't affect the tranquil of the cafe originally.
I got curious and went forward to the KPOP corner.
MyStiCal, SHINee, BEAST, SNSD, Super Junior and more posters are displayed from many different solo artist and groups.
Just then, someone was behind me, “Boo.” He said.
I turned and looked at him, “Oppa.” I smiled.
“What are you looking at?” He asked, sounds like he wasn't aware of he change in the cafe.
“Look." I said and pointed into the room.
"Wow~ Daebak!" He exclaimed.
I nodded, "I guess we could only go in when there's no one inside." I said.
Taemin agreed, "Ne, I guessed we shall sign for Auntie Sunshine later." He said.
I smiled, Taemin oppa really does know what I am thinking.
We then went back to our seat and Auntie Sunshine came by personally to get our orders.
"Oppa, what have you got for me?" I asked.
Taemin took out a gift box and placed it in front of me, "Here you go, it's a small gift but I thought it suits you a lot." He said.
"Can i open it?" I asked with anticipation.
He nodded, I opened the gift box, "Aww~~~ Yeppeunda~ Kamsahamnida oppa!" I said.
It's a necklace!
"Jowayo?" He asked.
*Translations : Do you like it*
I nodded, "Ne! Nomu Jowahae!" I replied, smiling really sweetly.
Taemin stood up and he helped me wear the necklace, "Komawo oppa." I said, a little awkwardly.
Auntie Sunshine came by with the food, "Aigoo~ You two are really sweet and cute together." She said.
"Aniyo." I said.
"Auntie Sunshine, Komawo." Taemin said.
(In case, you are wondering, Auntie Sunshine is an american who migrated over to Korea many years ago. Uncle Sunshine is a native korean.)
We enjoyed the food, "Min Ah, are you in love with someone else?" He asked.
I dare not to look at his eyes, "Aniyo oppa, I am single." I said.
"Jeongmal? You seems to be different from when I met you in High School." he said.
"Waeyo? I didn't change much though. Still the same height, seems like I am not growing any taller." I said, jokingly.
Taemin looked at me, "You seems to be not as happy anymore. I don't see you smiling like when you are in High School." he said.
"Your smile is so.. beautiful when you are in High School, that was the reason why I fall in love with you." He added.
"But now, your smile is still beautiful but it seems like you aren't really happy." Taemin said.
I was rather strucked by what he said, I thought about it a little, (MA's POV: Did I really changed?)
Taemin held my hand, "If you are thinking whether or not did you change, then the answer is, you really did changed." He said.
I looked at him, "Did I really changed a lot?" I asked.
Taemin oppa ruffled my hair, "Ne. You are even more pretty than before, you are even more gentle than before, you are even more attractive." Taemin said.
"Oppa~ Where should we go next?" I asked.
Taemin suggested for us to go back to our former High School, Ahyun High School.
The faces changed but we are still able to find our seonsaengnimdeul in there.
We greeted them and also had a short chat with them.
I guessed next time I shall ask YoSeob and MiKi oppa to join us..
Before I left, he said, "Love can be sweet but it can be hurtful"
I got into the cab and then started thinking about this...
