“Yo, Amber, it’s moi!"
“Ji Eun!” Amber exclaimed excitedly, as she always did whenever her friend calls. “What’s up, woman?”
”Can you help me with something?” Ji Eun asked, peeking through her door to see a figure returning to his room with a bottle of water.
“Uhuhs. What is it?”
Ji Eun closed her door and walked over to her bed. “My cousin’s looking for a girlfriend.”
“Oh ok. Tell me about him.”
“Well…” Ji Eun began. “He owns Envivo, the computer company. You know?”
“Oh yeah,” Amber said. “I don’t use Envivo though.”
“Yeah, doesn’t matter,” Ji Eun brushed it off. “Anyway…”
“Well, I have a few friends who are single. What kind of girl does he like?”
“I don’t know. He never had any.”
Amber’s nicely shaped eyebrow raised in fascination. “Oh okay. So what is he like?”
Hearing the question, Ji Eun progressed to her mission of advertising with complete enthusiasm. “He’s nice, smart, charming, and caring. He can cook amazing food and he has a house and a car. He has a stable and good-paying job.”
“Okay…” Amber managed as she listened to Ji Eun’s continuous rants.
“But he’s chubby.”
“Oh,” Amber said. “How chubby?”
“W-ell…” Ji Eun faltered, looking around her room as if it would help her with choosing words. “He’s chubby chubby.”
“Yea…” Amber prodded, “Like how chubby?”
Ji Eun contemplated for a moment and decided with, “Cute chubby!”
“Oh, alright,” Amber settled it and decided to just see for herself. “So, how are we going to introduce them?”
“Well, contact your friends and I’ll organise dinner at my place. Soon!”
