Percy had been sitting down next to Annabeth for about 20 minutes, waiting for her to wake up. Finally, he felt her squeeze his hand.

Percy: Annabeth??!! Nurse! I think she's awake!

Nurse: *does something with a computer* She is indeed awake. I'll let you two be alone.

*Nurse leaves*

Percy: Annabeth...?

Annabeth: ..Hey, Seaweed Brain...

Percy: *kisses Annabeth and hugs her* Are you ok?!

Annabeth: My head hurts... but yeah..

Percy: What happened?

Annabeth: I... fainted.. I think? Your diary.. fell.. Is my mom really going to... break us up? 

Percy: .....

Annabeth: Percy?

Percy: ..........

Annabeth: Percy, answer me!

Percy: She's gonna try..

Annabeth: ... Why?

Percy: She hates me, Annabeth.

Annabeth: But I don't! She can't do that to me.. she knows how much I love you...!

Percy: I don't think she cares....

Annabeth: Percy..

Percy: Yeah?

Annabeth: You know I'm not gonna let her do that, right?

Percy: How are you gonna stop her?

Annabeth: That doesn't matter.. but Percy, I love you. I'm not going to let my mother come between us.

Percy: Ok.. just, don't get hurt... I love you too, Wise Girl.
