Byulyi was in middle school when her father was training her. Her father, the former red ranger before Minhyuk, was happy to find out that his daughter wanted to be a ranger.

At first her mother was against the idea. However, Byulyi had begged her mom to let do it. She was really dedicated to the training.

Byulyi’s mom had eventually agreed and if Byulyi was hurt then her mother would blame him. Byulyi’s father took the responsibility.

Not only was Byulyi training, her cousins Minseok and Minhyuk were also training. Byulyi had brought Seulgi in as well and Minseok brought Sehun, because his fighting skills were amazing.

They spent throughout middle school and their junior year of high school when they were selected to become the next rangers. 

Around the same time, that's when Byulyi started dating Yongsun.

Their romance was just like every high school romance, Byulyi and Seulgi were both on the soccer team for their school while Yongsun and Joohyun were the cheerleaders.

At first Yongsun didn’t like Byulyi as much because of the cheesiness of her and her constant flirting with her.

“Get away from me.” Yongsun spatted at the soccer player. Byulyi would always laugh and give her strawberry milk.
