Park Hyun Wol stops breathing for a moment at the sudden realization. She stares at the almost half empty glass of lemonade in front of her, the ice swirling around though no one is touching her drink. Ryeowook puts down his own glass and looks worriedly from across her. He calls her name once, twice, thrice – yet she can’t respond.

It makes sense now. It all makes sense.

Why her heart beats fast when he’s around. Why the mere mention of him sends the butterflies ablaze in the pit of her stomach. Why she is irritated when he is around flaunting how perfect he is. Why she feels so lonely when he’s gone. Why she continues with the contract though it’s almost obvious that she needs not to. Why she is so infuriated over the lovely heiress, Lee Sun Kyu.

She should have known.

A lone tear escapes from her eyes, travelling down her cheek as she stares at the palm of her hands resting against her lap.

Park Hyun Wol – A university student in the University of Seoul majoring in Korean literature. She’s rumoured to be willing to do anything for the right amount of cash – of course, people can never actually say anything once face-to-face with her. She’s the unapproachable, untouchable queenka of the University of Seoul. Everyone knows her, secretly talking behind her back, and yet no one can deny they are absolutely captivated by her charisma and charm. Hyun Wol has made a name for herself as everyone’s girlfriend… literally.

Lee Sungmin – The heir to Wangja fashion line, one of the top fashion houses in South Korea. Sungmin is also a student on his last year in UoS majoring in business administration.  He’s the perfect son in law; smart, obedient, rich, soft-spoken and not to mention drop dead gorgeous. Who wouldn’t want him as a husband? Unfortunately, his bride-to-be objects of him, and in order for both to benefit, he needs a reason to get him out of the marriage. Luckily, UoS’s queenka seems to be the answer to his problems.

Kim Ryeowook – Hyun Wol’s best friend since they were practically in diapers. He’s also a student in the University of Seoul, majoring in theatre arts. Ryeowook has always been Hyun Wol’s right hand man, always there for her, always her back up whenever a plan goes wrong; always the guy to get her out of trouble. Ryeowook is also the guy who is continuously waiting for the dense Hyun Wol to pick up on his hints and notice his damn feelings already. Well, when the one you love is everybody’s girlfriend, nothing is ever easy.

Lee Sun Kyu – Lee Soo Man’s heir to the one and only SM Entertainment, the most successful music agency in South Korea. One of the most eligible bachelorettes in the country yet her eyes lay on only one man, her first and current boyfriend. Spontaneous, bright, and energetic, Sunny [as she likes to be called] certainly lives up to her name. While her uncle turns a deaf ear to her pleas, she seeks the help of her future husband, Lee Sungmin to end this ridiculous engagement.

Anyway, I've been in a mood to write Ryeowook [since there are so little fics of him out there - asdfghjkl] and Sunny too because I'm starting to love her again. She's so pretty with her short hair okay. ;_; And no, just because this is mainly a Sungmin/OC fic does not mean that Sunny automatically becomes the bad guy. e_e So no one tell me to not make her a villain because she's not even evil in this fic - asdfghjkl. Read the character description, okay, guys.
