A/N: It's already Sunday where I am. As I promised, next update would be by next week or by Sunday. I wasn't really planning to post this now because I haven't edited this chapter. However, I wasn't feeling well the whole day and spent my day lying on the bed. So, instead of sleeping my condition away, I tried to finish editing this. Luckily, I did. I hope you're gonna enjoy this chapter. It would be good. I promise. :))

The second week of the event came and the weekend passed like a blur to Woohyun. He spent Friday night and the whole day of Saturday inside the batting cage, preparing for his baseball event. It was challenging. Baseball was a lot different from soccer and the only advantage that he had was his agility, strength and endurance. If he couldn't hit the ball that far, he had to make-up for it using his abilities.

Cheongdam Art High School advanced to the finals after having won its second soccer match. Woohyun tried hanging out with the baseball team in his spare time and would watch their second game, which was a qualifier game.

Unfortunately, because Sunggyu was unavailable to play, his batting event could not be integrated into the second baseball game, which would actually take place in a few moments. He was doing his work at the relay race. If their campus lost the second game, it would happen in the third game; if they won, it would happen in the finals.

He hadn't met his friends since he came in. But he already knew where the three were. He was certain that they were flirting somewhere on campus.

As he approached the baseball field, he couldn't help but reflect on how far he had come with the bet he was playing. It never occurred to him that he would enter an actual baseball field to prove to the entire school that he wanted to date Sunggyu. He began playing the game half-heartedly, but there he was, desperate to complete it. That was what he wanted it to look like. Then there was his husband who was absolutely enjoying the show.

Because no one knew he was married, only the most astute observers would notice why he changed. And his husband once said, 'If they could just look you in the eyes, they'd understand why you quit.' It was too clear, baby.' A part of him had always been transparent and yet, even his own friends couldn't figure out why. He wondered how many people noticed.

Woohyun met Zico who was also heading to the baseball arena. They walked side by side in silence until they reached the bleachers.

"Are you confident that you can get a date with Sunggyu?" Zico broke the silence.

"Zi, the truth is, no matter how much I practice, I'll still at it. I'd just try my luck." He said honestly. Zico laughed at him. "If only I had another feasible option."

They sat in silence once more, awaiting the start of the game. As much as he wanted to talk to the man next to him, there were too many people around who weren't used to seeing them together.

When the game started, that was the only time they talked again but about baseball. His husband was right, he had to see the game for him to understand the concept. That baseball wasn't all about hitting the ball and running to the plates. It was more than that. Zi explained everything to him until the game ended and their school won.

"Hyun, don't tell Gyu I gave you a lesson. He would unquestionably kill me." Woohyun chuckled. Who would have thought that Sunggyu would make things as difficult as he could for him?

"Don't worry Zi and thank you. I would hug you but there are too many people around. They might think I am cheating on Sunggyu already before I had the chance to date him."

As Zico started walking toward the opposite side of him, he said, "Leave now before more people see us."

Woohyun stared at Zico's retreating back before walking to his next destination, the cafeteria. It's strange that he suddenly craved their cafeteria food. He complained a lot about how it tasted like hospital food.

When he walked in, he saw Sunggyu sitting alone in the corner, busy writing something. His specs were on and he was looking smarter than he already was. Woohyun pulled the chair beside him and sat down. Sunggyu just glanced at him and continued working. And since most of the students in the cafeteria were mostly not from their campus, no one was paying attention to them.

He started by doing what he was very well-versed at: flirting and sweet-talking. "Did I ever tell you that you looked good in glasses?"

"Woohyun, please not now. Can't you see how busy I am? Stop flirting or else you wouldn't even have a chance to stand on the baseball field because I would break your bones. I already gave you your chance so go practice or talk with another person, just get out of my face." Sunggyu said snappishly without looking at him.

With his playful voice, he continued. "Why would I talk to someone? I only want to talk to you." He could hear the heavy sigh that was coming from the man beside him.

Sunggyu started glaring at him again and asked him to come near. He happily obliged only to have left ear twisted and pinched. "Do you want to be rejected 12 times?" Woohyun shook his head while wincing but Sunggyu never let go of his ear. "When I say back off, you back off. Stop annoying me." He let go of his ear.

Woohyun massaged his abused ear and said, "You are really sadistic Kim Sunggyu. I'll go now." He stood-up complaining and left Sunggyu alone.

Meanwhile, Sunggyu's phone rang and he answered it without looking at who was the one calling. He was too absorbed with what he was doing for him to take a look. Well, he knew who it was anyway.

His lips curled into a smile while the person on the other line started whining about something. He couldn't even see him but the image that appeared in his brain was too adorable to not brighten his day.

When the call ended, the smile never left his face. Sunggyu had always been a reserved person. Even his friends were telling him how secretive he was. Often, they were curious about the things he was hiding. However, the truth was, he wasn't really hiding anything but his relationships. Just like what he had said, he wasn't used to dating publicly.

Since he was rejecting everyone at school, his friends assumed that he was hiding a boyfriend or something. Well, he really had been hiding someone for quite some time now and no one knew that. Boyfriend. He chuckled at himself and shook his head.

A cute and adorable man who always made him forget all his troubles. The only person who never failed to make him happy. His boyfriend. But a more appropriate term would be ex-boyfriend.

His thoughts were interrupted by Dongwoo who was surprisingly with Hoya. "Gyu, I caught him with a beer on the rooftop." Sunggyu stared at Hoya with glaring eyes that were as sharp as daggers.

"Bring him to the SC office Dongwoo. we couldn't talk about it here." Woohyun's friends were really infuriating. He wouldn't be surprised if later on, Sungyeol and Myungsoo would follow.

When they reached the SC office, Dongwoo gave him the beer can that he confiscated from Hoya. "Was he the only one? Aren't they the three musketeers? I know Woohyun wasn’t with him. He just left the canteen before you came."

"He was the only one. I saw Sungyeol far from the rooftop before I caught him. As for Myungsoo, I haven't seen him yet."

Drinking alcoholic beverages inside the school premises were strictly prohibited and any students caught would be subjected to suspension which was to be ordered by the discipline committee. However, Sunggyu didn't know what to do with only four days remaining before summer vacation would start. He drafted the incident report to be given to DC office.

After, Sunggyu picked up the phone and called Mr. Jo's office to see if he was in. Fortunately, the chairman was there. He and Dongwoo brought Hoya to the DC office after instructing Sungjong and Minhyuk to replace him and Dongwoo to oversee the upcoming third round of relay and second game of volleyball.

At the DC office, Dongwoo reported the incident while handing in the incident report he had written.

"Lee Howon, do you know that the punishment for being caught drinking here at school is two weeks suspension?" They noticed how Hoya gasped. Seemed like he had no idea how serious the punishment would be. And it would appear to his student record.

Hoya frantically asked, "Mr. Jo is there any other punishment I could do? Suspension would be added to my record. I'm sorry for drinking here. I will not do it again."

The chairman looked at him and Dongwoo asking for their opinion. However, Sunggyu didn't want to have a hand on that again. He already made a mistake once and he never wanted to do it again.

"Sir, I don't have any recommendations on this matter. Whatever you deemed suitable, Student Council would try to help." He respectfully answered.

Mr. Jo suddenly asked him to get coach Yoon and the team captain of the soccer team as well as Hoya's homeroom teacher. All of them widened their eyes. It would be an unfortunate punishment for Hoya if the chairman involved soccer in the punishment.

Sunggyu bowed before going out to call the people that the chairman mentioned. He pulled out his phone to call Woohyun.

"Woohyun, where are you? Meet me in the faculty room." He never gave Woohyun an opportunity to respond and dropped the call abruptly.

After a few minutes, they met outside. Woohyun was asking him the reason why but he couldn't answer him. He just told him to wait for coach Yoon and professor Lee.

"Am I in trouble? Or another friend of mine is in trouble again?" There was worry laced on Woohyun's voice.

He never had any chances to answer because the coach and the homeroom teacher arrived. Sunggyu led everyone towards the discipline committee office which made the three with him confused.

When they were inside the administration building, Sunggyu felt a hand touching his. His eyes widened and he tried to pull out his hand but Woohyun wouldn't budge. Outside the DC office, that was the only time Woohyun let go of his hand. He glared at him before turning towards the door to knock.

Dongwoo opened the door and he could see the surprise on Woohyun's, coach Yoon's and professor Lee’s faces when they saw Hoya inside.

"Thank you Sunggyu for calling them." Sunggyu bowed. Then the chairman faced the three. "So, I called you three here because of Hoya. He was caught drinking on the rooftop by the student council."

Woohyun exploded in anger. "Yah Lee Howon, do you want to get suspended? You idiot!"

Sunggyu could see how Woohyun cared for his friends. Something that he couldn't understand at first. After seeing him scolding his stubborn friends many times, he realized that he was the anchor of the Hoya, Sungyeol, and Myungsoo. Those three listened to Woohyun even though they were testing his patience.

Sunggyu smiled at that thought. However, it didn't mean that he would see them in a different light now. He still hated their guts and their entire being for giving him too many headaches and for another reason.

"It's ok Woohyun. I decided not to suspend Howon at school since the summer vacation would already start. It would be useless. However, I would give him a suspension in playing soccer for two months starting today, excluding vacation."

Coach Doojoon tried to appeal since the soccer finals were scheduled for Thursday. However, the chairman's answer was negative.

The coach and the players left the office dejectedly. Sunggyu and Dongwoo followed them with Hoya beside them with head hanging low. He could see the disappointment in the coach's eyes. Then, the coach asked Woohyun to give him the list of players who could replace Hoya.

"Coach, there would be none. Those who passed the try-outs would still undergo training after summer vacation."

Sunggyu couldn't help but -in. "Coach Yoon, can I give you a name? I know someone who plays soccer well. I asked him to try-out but his parents didn't want him to focus on soccer. Maybe he could play in the finals."

He said something that caught the players' attention, and they stopped walking to ask who he was it. "Yang Yoseob. He is Gikwang's classmate. He started playing soccer when he was in primary school."

"Are you close with him Sunggyu-ssi?" He nodded.

"He is my cousin who just came back from another country to finish his high school here. I'll call him if you want to ask him."

When coach Yoon agreed, he asked them to wait at the SC office as he would find his cousin for them. Dongwoo kept them company.

Sunggyu brought Yoseob and the three of them coaxed him into playing one game. In the end, his cousin agreed. When everyone left, Sunggyu leaned on the table to rest for a while. It was already lunchtime, but he hadn't finished his work for the day.

"Gyu, aren't you planning to eat? You might collapse again." Dongwoo asked.

Sunggyu looked at his friend and smiled. "I will but let me rest first. Hoya drained my energy with his idiocy."

Knocks on the door were heard that interrupted their conversation. Dongwoo who was standing near the door, opened it to see who was outside. Sunggyu hoped it wasn't another delinquent who needed attention.
