[Third Person POV]

Dahyun would love to just go home, lie on her bed, and sleep.

Wait, no, calling her girlfriend, eating something, since she skipped lunch, and then going to sleep.

It would be even better if she could spend some time with her girlfriend outside,
in the park or something else, since the older girl always had something that calmed Dahyun and made her feel secure.

It feels like ages since they did something together but with college and her job, it’s almost impossible.
Jihyo and Dahyun don’t live together yet since Jihyo is still living with her parents, so it means even less time together.
They are together for a little more than two years and also talked about living together but it was a little complicated with some arrangements.

Dahyun is working at the café right now.
She doesn’t have long till her shift ends but even after the first hour she worked today, it was getting tiring.

She tried to put on a smile on her face for the customers, but it was kinda hard, even more,
when some of them were either rude or just very uncomfortable.

However, when the door opened her smile turned to a real one after seeing who was the one getting inside the café.

"Hey darling, fancy seeing you here"
Dahyun said when she saw her girlfriend getting inside the café.

Her mood turned 180 and she felt how some energy was coming into her body.
She was serving a customer right now so she could only lock eyes with Jihyo for a short moment.

The older girl had the same thought and wanted to see her girlfriend since they hadn't much time to hang up,
so she asked her friends to join her to go to the café. However, before she could reply to her girlfriend's sweet words,
the customer suddenly leaned over the counter a bit.

"Unexpected but I will gladly be your Darling"
the girl said with a smirk.

Dahyun's eyes widen when she heard what the girl said.

She looked to the side to see her girlfriend glaring at the customer while Sana and Mina were laughing at their friend.

"I'm sorry but I was talking to my girlfriend"
Dahyun said pointing at Jihyo.

The girl looked to her right to see Jihyo glaring at her and scoffed before looking back to Dahyun,
placing her hand on the other girl's

"You can still change your mind"
the girl said.

Jihyo was about to say something,
but Dahyun was faster pulling her hand away and placing the order in front of the girl

"I could but I would never, so I would prefer if you don't touch me, thank you"
Dahyun simply answered, her face showing the girl a serious expression.

Nobody offends her girlfriend just like this.

The girl took her coffee and went out of the store with an offended expression,
giving Jihyo and her friends a small glare.

Jihyo who was looking after the girl with a frown was dragged by her friends to the counter.

She was greeted with a peck on her lips when Dahyun leaned over, pulling her out of the trance and giving the girl in front of her, her attention

"Hey again, what brings you here Baby?"
Dahyun asked, thinking Jihyo’s expression is really cute right now but didn’t comment on it, knowing she gets hit if she does

"I kinda missed you, and since we can't see each other, I thought I bring Sana and Mina with me and we chill here for a while"

"More like working on our project, you promised Jihyo"
Mina said

"Yeah yeah okay"
Jihyo shrugged off and looked at her girlfriend again.

“So, you only kinda missed me?”
Dahyun asked with a small smirk, raising one of her eyebrows.

Jihyo smiled shyly and put her hand on top of her girlfriend’s

“Okay, maybe a lot”
she said, hearing a small ‘whipped’ from Sana but decided to ignore it.

Dahyun wanted to say something, but a voice interrupted her

"Kim, quit flirting with your girlfriend we have other customers and tables to clean. And I saw what happened.
Don't be rude to a customer only because she flirted with you, it's not the first time anyway"

Dahyun's manager got to the counter wearing a frown on his face like always

"I'm sorry sir, won't happen again"
Dahyun said bowing in respect

"Good, if not, your girlfriend can't come here anymore"
he said with a pointed finger before going back to his office, leaving the four girls behind

"Sorry, he just wants everything to be perfect"
Dahyun explained to the three girls

"What did he mean with nothing new about you being flirted with?"
Jihyo asked with a raised brow.

Of course, that was the only thing she got from what the manager told Dahyun

"You know…….some customers get sometimes a little too friendly all of a sudden.
That's also a reason for our couple ring, since then, almost nobody flirted with me"
Dahyun explained with a nervous smile.
