We aren't playthings

3 Identities of my Mysterious Wife

"When is it going to air?" Mihye asked anxiously.

"Soon." Hyomin responded. She raised her brows at Mihye curiously, noting the Queen's strange behavior. She preferred to keep mum about it and waited to see if it needed any immediate attention.

Mihye nodded.

The team of Women Organization members had decided to pool their resources together to come up with an advertisement to air on the television. It was going to warn the men to not get it in their heads about their position in the society. Clearly, this was getting out of hand, because there were already three cases to date.

Mihye didn't want to risk anymore girls being harmed and she hoped that the culprit would be scared enough to stop his scandalous acts.

She had shared her knowledge about the Rain guy, and none of them knew who it was. It was obviously some fake name, and there was no way of knowing who the real guy was under that pretense.

Boram had told the members that one of her friends had met a guy named Rain before at a pub too. He was strong and burly, hot and y, and had that J.T. necklace around his neck too. Apparently he frequented pubs and clubs, but he didn't go to each one more than twice for fear of getting caught.

The girls had gone to several pubs and clubs to look for Rain in the days Mihye was gone at her house, but there were no findings. Most of the bartenders couldn't even remember there was such a guy, since Rain didn't go to each bar often.

They gave up on trying to find him that way, and chose instead, to stop his activity by warning him. They had pooled their already scarce resources to air an advertisement that was going to be played nationwide. There was no way that the Rain guy and the other board of directors wouldn't see the commercial.

They could only hope that it was enough to scare him.

It was a full ten minutes before the commercial was to be aired, and instead of looking nervous and fidgety like Mihye did in the past, Mihye stared blankly into space, her fingers playing with the wedding band around her fourth finger constantly.

The flower sisters looked at each other and nodded, ascertaining that something was definitely up.

"Mihye, can you come with us for a moment?" Qri called. Mihye snapped out of her daze and nodded, following the three sisters into one of the meeting rooms where Jiyeon shut the door behind them. Once they had privacy to themselves, they narrowed their eyes at Mihye.

"Spill." they crossed their arm and demanded in unison.

"Huh?" Mihye blinked confusedly. "What?"

"Don't act like you don't know." Jiyeon frowned. "Something obviously happened during the trip back to your parent's house! You're acting weirdly! Don't think we can't tell and don't try to bluff it off as nothing."

Mihye gulped. "Oh." she played with her fingers. "It's really nothing-" she looked up at the three angry faces and bit her lip. "Arraso arraso. I'll tell you."

She began relaying the entire incident to the three sisters. How L.Joe had been kind enough to bring her home. How he had celebrated her birthday for her. How her mother had played that trick on her. How he had pushed her against the wall and kissed her senseless. How he had managed to control himself by taking a total of fifteen cold showers in the bathroom, and yes she counted because she wasn't able to sleep as well.

The flower sisters gaped at Mihye with open mouths when Mihye finished. Mihye blinked hesitantly at them. "So? You know what's happening to me?" she asked. "Why can't I forget the kiss? It's obviously nothing."

"It's not nothing, babo!" Hyomin spat, as if the word was ridiculously funny. "If it was nothing you wouldn't be thinking about it like this. Oh my god so many things have happened and you only tell us now?" she growled.

"Look Mihye, I'm going to ask you questions and I want you to answer them honestly okay? No lying and no letting your brain think." Qri demanded. "Answer with your heart."

Mihye nodded obediently.

"What do you think of Byunghun?"

Mihye cocked her head to the side. "He's obviously a very good guy." she smiled softly. "He's really good to me and I can tell he really cares. He's an ideal man of course, good looking and rich. But that's not what makes him attractive. It's how he can put aside everything for me. That's what makes him special."

"How about the Knight?" Hyomin asked. "Have you thought about him at all?"

Mihye looked surprised. She tapped her chin. "Now that I think about it, not really. But I think it's because we haven't met for a long time?" she asked unsurely.

The flower sisters looked at each other. "How about the divorce? Do you hope that it's going to come soon?" Jiyeon asked.

Mihye's face fell. "I..."

"Enough." Qri demanded for her to stop. She sighed and looked at Mihye. "Mihye, you're in love. Not with the Knight, but with your husband, Byunghun."

Mihye's eyes widened. "What? But-"

"Just think about it yourself, Mihye." Qri advised. "We can't tell you what to do and what to feel. Only you have the say yourself. You have to figure it out on your own. But our best guess is that your feelings for him aren't platonic anymore. Think about it."

Mihye lowered her gaze onto her wedding band. *Love?*

"Damn it." L.Joe cursed, shutting the file and laying back in his seat. He was obviously not getting anything done with all the distracted thoughts running through his mind.

He wasn't affected by herbs or whatnot at the moment, and none that he knew off, but he could still picture Mihye's flushed face when she came out of the bathroom. He could still feel her soft lips against his, and how she felt like when he pressed her against the wall.

The sensations came back again, not as strong as when he was drugged influenced, but still there.

L.Joe shook his head desperately, but he couldn't deny it. He really really wanted to kiss his wife, right now.

"Relax Byunghun." he told himself. "As Miss Apple said, this may just be a crush. It may pass soon. Maybe even now." he consoled himself though he didn't really believe in it. He sighed. "It must just be lust, Byunghun. It's natural for a man to be lusting over a woman especially when he's a twenty year old like me. Relax."

He opened his eyes just as his phone rang. It was a call from CAP telling him to watch the tv right then. He turned the television on only to see an advertisement by the Women's Organization, telling men that they had to becareful, because the women wouldn't just let any wrong doing go.

"We aren't playthings, men." The advertisement ended off.

L.Joe frowned and immediately made a call to arrange for a meeting with the Women's Organization the next day. Something must have cropped up for them to make such drastic measures.

"And hopefully seeing the Queen again, I can perhaps fall in love with her?" L.Joe muttered unsurely. "And forget about Mihye. That's right."
