Identity of his Crush

3 Identities of my Mysterious Wife

Mihye sighed to herself as she kept her phone in her pocket.

Her talking buddy L.Joe had just asked her about another girl who was just as mysterious as she had been towards the mystery guy the previous night. She wondered if it was fair to the club hottie to not tell him anything at all. Would it hurt to give him her name at all?

It's just three syllybus.

Mihye shook her head. "Don't be ridiculous, Choi Mihye. Everyone knows you're Byunghun oppa's wife. If you get involved with him, you'll only cause more problems. wait 6 months." she told herself.

But she couldn't forget that guy's gentle movements, his scent, his eyes that made her feel like shimmering away from the intense gaze.

He had danced close to her such that she could feel his body heat, but he didn't touch her. It was conservative but at the same time y, if that even made sense. It was completely unforgettable and Mihye had never experienced anything of the like, much less thought of a guy more than she did now.

She was thrown off her daydream again when a call came from Jiyeon. "MIHYE! YOU'VE GOT TO COME NOW!" the maknae of the flower sisters hollered into the phone.

Mihye winced and brought the phone away from her injured ear and brought it to the other. "What happened?" she asked, anxious. Jiyeon was the coldest and the most composed out of the three sisters, not at all behaving like the maknae. But for her to scream like this...something big must have happened.

"It's horrible!" Jiyeon shrieked. "Come quick! We don't know what to do at all!"

Mihye bit her lip in worry and muttered her reply. Before even ending the call, she had already sprung up in action, grabbing the nearest coat and running down the stairs. Kevin was on his way up to her room with cookies and milk when a figure dashed past him in a blur.

"Mihye?" He blinked.

Mihye looked back, her face pale with anxiety. "I'm going out again, Kevin oppa. Please cover for me if need be! Thanks!" she ran out of the house before Kevin could even respond. He sighed and looked at the cookies he just made, biting into one and pouting. "Aish. Why did you have to fall in love with sucha  mysterious girl, Kevin Woo?" he muttered dejectedly.

Mihye flagged a cab and rushed all the way to the Head Quarters which was also located next to the conference room they usually held their meetings at. Even though she was anxious and in a complete hurry, she didn't fail to forget to check for anyone around before sneaking into their private territory.

Once inside, the mood and atmosphere was one Mihye had never felt before. She saw Hyomin fetching hot chocolate and more blankets and she immediately ran to her. "Unnie. what happened?" she whispered.

Hyomin shot her a sad look and Mihye was shocked to see her unnie's puffy eyes. Hyomin gestured for Mihye to follow and they went to one of the smaller rooms that was present in the Head Quarters. Peeking inside, Mihye could see Qri and Jiyeon and another girl who she couldn't see the face of, sitting around.

The unknown girl was shaking and crying, her hair messed up and blankets piled up round her like a protective layer even though it was rather hot in the summer. Jiyeon and Qri were busy comforting this girl, and they provided tissues, patting her head and back frequently.

"Who's that? What happened?" Mihye whispered, completely disturbed.

Hyomin sighed and set the tray of hot chocolate down on a table. "She came to us today, just moments ago." she spoke in a low urgent voice. "You couldn't believe how she looked like when she came here, Mihye. It was horrible. Her clothes were torn, there was blood running down her legs, and she looked like a mess. But the thing that scared me the most were her eyes, Mihye. They were so sorrowful and full of melancholy. I couldn't even bear to look at her."

Mihye flinched, imagining the scene. "What happened to her?" she asked, gulping.

Hyomin looked at Mihye in the eye. "." One word, and Mihye could literally feel the entire misery this girl was going through. Mihye let out a jagged breath and whispered because her voice wasn't working properly anymore. "Who?"

Hyomin shook her head. "She doesn't know. He was masked." Hyomin muttered regretfully. She looked at Mihye with hope in her eyes, the hope for a tommorrow that could have been brighter. "We need you, Mihye. If the Queen helps, she'd be more at ease."

Mihye nodded. She took a deep breath and put on a steady unwavering, but comforting smile and went into the room. Jiyeon and Qri looked up at the newcomer and the relief that washed over their faces were evident. Mihye approached the sobbing girl carefully and sat down beside her.

"Hey." she said softly. The girl peeked at her through her fringe, sniffing. "You're the Queen? You're younger than I thought." she whispered.

Mihye let out a small smile. "Yeah. But I'm going to help you, no matter my age." she assured. "Now can you tell me what happened, in detail? I'll help you, I promise. Let's start with your name, shall we? what's your name?" she asked in a flowing voice.

The girl sniffed. "Ham Eunjung." she said in a timid voice.

Mihye stiffened. Ham Eunjung? She had heard of this name before. Eunjung was a renowned artist that was known for her overwhelming confidence and lack of regard for men. *And to think she's in this broken form, sobbing in front of me now.* Mihye frowned.

"Okay Eunjung unnie, please tell me what happened." Mihye whispered.

Eunjung nodded, finally looking up. Mihye bit back a gasp at the tear stained face, with eyes that looked like they lost their soul.

"I was just walking home from the art store with my newly bought art supplies." Eunjung gestured for the bag on the floor that revealed broken paint brushes. "When suddenly someone attacked me from behind. He covered my mouth to prevent me from screaming and made me smell this horrid smelling thing that made me lose my consciousness. When I woke up..." she gulped. "It was too late. My clothes were already torn and he was already having his way with me. I...I don't think I screamed more than I did in my life." she whispered in fear.

Mihye patted Eunjung's shoulder assuringly. "You didn't see his face?" she probed.

Eunjung shook her head. "That clever bastard was wearing a mask. I don't have any clue to who he is at all." she bit her lip. She broke into sobs again. "What am I to do? I can't even learn to love myself when I'm like that. How will others take me?"

Mihye sighed and hugged the broken girl. "It'll be alright, Eunjung unnie. I'll help you, I promise."

"Byunghun hyung. Check mail. Now." Ricky commanded from the other end of the line and hung up before L.Joe could ask anything. He frowned, but did what his dongsaeng asked and opened his mail.

Immediately, the latest email from the same familiar address caught his eye, urging him to open it. This time, instead of words, there was a video that came with it.

L.Joe opened the video curiously.

His jaw dropped when he found himself staring at the exact girl that stole his heart at the club few nights back. His dancing girl.

She was wearing a silver eyemask, but L.Joe could recognize her because she gave off the same aura as his dancing girl did. He gulped when he realised who this girl was posing as.

"The reason for this email today is to warn you, men." the girl glared into the camera. "We have faced a certain circumstance in the Organization, but we will not reveal our weakness. But it is with no doubt that this has got to do with you men. We are giving you one last chance before we will do something about this mess. We are serious. Do NOT mess with women."

With that, the video ended.

Instead of frowning because of the threats, L.Joe was staring wide eyed at the screen at Mihye's face.

"So the one I'm having a crush on, is the Queen. The leader of the Organization." he whispered. At once, he felt she was much more attractive than before.
