Your POV

You are in the balcony just finished with a draft. A satisfied smile draw to your face as you save it.

You clicked open to double check however the pc became slow and then hanged.

            “Huh, what happened?!” your brows get side by side. You tried to press some buttons to

see if it’ll work but nothing happened..then you restart your laptop but the same problem

occurred. You stood up from your seat as worry comes to you.

            “__________ sshi, what are you doing here?” Jaejoong approached you. You just gave

him a  worried look. His eyes falls on the thing that your hands are busy with.

            “What’s the matter with it?”

            “My laptop is stuck up.”

            “Have you tried refreshing it or restarting perhaps?”

            “Yeah, I’ve done both of that but it didn’t helped, still it hangs up.”

            “You mind if I take a look?” Jaejoong offered his help. _______ give way to him. Jaejoong

sat on the chair and started checking on the laptop.

            “Do you know anything about computers?” you asked quietly.

            “I’m not a “computer whiz” but I’m sure that I know a thing or two.” You just observed

him while trying to fix the problem. It took him around fifteen minutes before he talk.

            “There you go..” he face the laptop on you. You checked your saved file and gave out a sigh

of relief after seeing your saved draft.

            “You just need to clean up some temporary files. It’s messing with its processes thus,

making it slow to respond..”

            “Thank you…I thought I lost all the things I wrote for a few hours.”

            “Glad I could help.” A genuine smile curled on his lips. You’re really glad that the two of you

are getting along well now. The wall between you is totally gone and you could talk comfortably like

this.

“Is that the new novel you’re working on?” Jaejoong eyed you as you turn it off.

            “Ah, yes..but I still have a lot to do on it before it becomes one.”

            “Surely, Seohyun would like to get a copy firsthand..”Jaejoong commented.

            “I think I should work harder because of that”. Both you laughed.

            “Jaejoong sshi, could you lend me some of your time tomorrow?”

            “For what?”

Jaejoong’s POV

            “Is this what you called researching?” he asked _______ in wonder.

            “This is what we called learning through experience.” she handed him the paintball gun.

Jaejoong followed her on the field.

            “You tried to play this before?”

            “No, have you?”she asked you in return.

            “Never tried this. Then, how are we supposed to do this?” the two of you found a good

spot.

            “Well… shoot all the enemies and win?” She pulls down his helmet cover before hers. They

heard the siren signaling the start of the paintball gun fight.  Jaejoong is confused and shock at the

same time. He never expected that he’ll be handling a paintball gun this afternoon on this forest.

Anyway, the two of you moves faster as you hear others shooting. Jaejoong fired his gun and shoot

other players. _________ is squeals as she dodges the enemy’s shots. The entire thirty minutes

is filled with hiding behind the trees, moving closer to the other players, shooting, and dodging.

            “_____ sshi, get down!” he warned her in which she followed quickly. Jaejoong shoots the

person who tried to shoot ______.

            “Thank you Jaejoong sshi, you saved my life!” She said while Jaejoong helps her to get up.

The field became quiet and it was announced that there were only four players in the field. They

were separated without knowing…

Your POV

            “Jaejoong sshi….”

You feel a bit scared after being separated with him. You were able to take down some opponents a

while ago however, now that you’re not with him you felt unsure…then you spotted an opponent.

You run quickly and sit behind the lying log to cover yourself.

            “Come out, come out Sweetheart…you wouldn’t like to mess that beautiful hair of yours!”

the man is teasing her. You move from your hidden spot and run. He fired at you but you managed

to dodge well by hiding behind the tree trunks while squealing. 

            “Oh, did I scare you? I’m sorry I forgot that you’re vulnerable. You want to phone

mommy?” he continued to annoy her.

Player #15 out! Red team 2, Blue team one! You heard the announcement. Oh, God! He’s still on

the game!

            “I got this!” you utter to yourself. You decided to approach the opponent quietly. His back is

in front of you. You expose yourself from the bushes.

            “Looking for me?” he turns to face you and before he could pull his trigger you shot him in

the chest. The man fell on the ground. You came near him while taking off your helmet.

            “Who’s gonna call out to mommy now?” you said to him. Then you see Jaejoong running

towards you.

             Player # 9 out! Game over, Red team wins!

            “________ sshi!”

            “Oh my God, we won!”you couldn’t hide the happiness you feel from that announcement.

            “Yeah, I can’t believe it either!” Jaejoong has a wide grin on his face.

            “You see me back there? I got the guy on a face off!” you proudly tell him.

            “I saw that.” He said.

            “You were awesome back there, Jaejoong sshi…” you smiled at him.  He didn’t respond. In

reality, he was caught off guard by what you said.

Jaejoong’s POV

At the park.

            “Jaejoong sshi…” Jaejoong stares at ________ sitting on the other bench next to his.

            “Thank you for accompanying me today..” she handed him one of the ice creams they

bought.

            “Sure” after that unexpected paintball fight, they decided to walk around. Their feet leaded

them to this park. They even go biking like what couples do. After a few rounds, _________

spotted a store. She told him that she would buy an ice cream for them. They found a good spot

with some shade and settled there to eat for a while.

            “When do you start writing novels?” He initiated a conversation.

            “Since high school I guess..”

            “So you’ve already realized your dream back then?”

            “Anniyo…” his eyes landed on her.

            “I like writing stories back then but I never dreamed to be a writer.” She gave him a quick

glance before returning her eyes to her ice cream.

            “I used to see it as a past time only. Back then, I wanted to be a lawyer.”

            “What happened?”

            “A person recognized what I do as a talent. He told me that law is not good for me and I

have a good future with writing. So here I am..”

            “You became a writer because this person told you to do so?”

            “Don’t misunderstand, I love what I do and now, I couldn’t see myself doing something

else. I’ll write ‘till my hands and brain stop functioning…but I couldn’t deny that I became a

writer because of that person.”

            “So I guess this person is a good writer too to make you change your mind.”

            “Nope..he’s a lawyer actually…he’s also the reason why I wanted to take up law. Clearly,

I wanted to follow him but when he told me to be a writer instead, I became one. Makes me

sound stupid right? He’s such an important person for me. His encouragement and support are

my sources of inspiration.”

Jaejoong knew who she is talking about. He felt a pinch on his heart.

            “Anyway, maybe you wanted to know why you’re here with me today.” Her tone

changed. Jaejoong looked at her.

            “This is not a research anymore..” she said.

            “Not a research so…”

            “I’m taking you inside my new novel.” She grinned at him.

            “Your novel? Then why didn’t you take Seohyun instead”

            “She’s my fan..also, you’re exactly what I need.”She said casually. Jaejoong’s heart skips a beat.

            “It’s just easy…we’ll go to places where the events should take place. Do things like the

characters would do. For example that paintball fight and riding bikes here in the park. And

lastly, listen to what they want to say and try to be inside the character’s heart.” ______ puts

down her spoon and made a gesture of putting her hand in front of her chest.

            “Wooo….that’s new..”the only words that escaped his lips. It will be a great chance for him

to spend more time with her. The thought brings anticipation and happiness to his heart.
